I reside in the Netherlands, so I won't be waiting for Radiohead. Since it is already two 'o clock at night overhere. But I'll definitely watch it tomorrow.

I tuned for a little bit on the youtube stream and golly is this what passes for music nowadays with the hipsters. And I'm saying that as a person that enjoys a wide range of music genres and styles.

Too bad you think of it that way. It's kind a strange, but it's very enjoyable.

Anyways, Destroyer is at channel two now, even better.

Tune-yards has got to be one of the most annoying musicians ever. I had the album for awhile but christ her voice is not pleasant, and the instrumentation nowhere near makes up for it. Ugh

Little embarrassed that I never followed any of Dan Bejar's solo stuff since he was always my least favorite contributor to New Pornographers' albums. After this Destroyer set I'm gonna have to change that.

I must say that the streams are incredibly stable. No lag or audio complaints overhere. Every festival should provide this service.

I actually kinda dug the Tuneyards performance. Never heard of them before.

Buzzcocks rock well. You know, for their age. Old punkers always weird me out.

edit: fuck yeah, Laura Marling in 45 minutes. Guess I'll stay up.

Destroyer is my favorite band of all time (with Rubies being my album) and I missed the stream ;[ . But I've seen them live and plan on doing so again this summer so no worries ;]

Watching some Kaiser Chiefs now. Still pretty descent live, just partying time. I just now realized what an amazing line-up the mainstage got today. After the Chiefs you can see Noel Gallagher followed by Andrew Bird, The Shins, Bon Iver and Radiohead. That's just awesome.

It was a phenomenal set. Some amazing musicians he has behind him and they performed as well as any group I've seen so far since these streams started. If you stay up late they should replay the whole day's worth of shows after it ends late tonight, so you might be able to tune in and catch it somewhere around 2-3 am PST.

As mentioned the sax was amazing.

The crowd right now for the shins is brutal. People are packed, theres no room to sit and we're stil 40minutes out. Im convinced half this crowd is jockeying for radiohead positions

Hope St. Vincent doesn't stick fully to Strange Mercy. Found the record pretty weak personally. Saw her live a couple months after Actor came out and hearing the tracks off that live was so great.

Hah, looks like you got your wish. I love Strange Mercy, haven't gone back and listened to Actor for whatever reason. Guess I should do so sometime.

I sorta feel the same. Strange Mercy is way to abstract with its super distorted guitar. On the other hand, hearing these guitar solos live sound awesome.

Wow, that was a monster finish to a great set. Definitely didn't see anything like that when I saw her at the tiny Pabst Theater. Even though I'm not a fan of Strange Mercy overall she played the best stuff off it, Chloe, Surgeon and Cruel. I'm pretty sure she played nothing off Marry Me, but I don't really blame her cause these Coachella sets are way too short.

Ok, the crowd after the shins set was the worst thing ever. Constant pushing and no is moving forward. Took 10 minutes to get out. Want no part of this crowd after bon iver
