Holy fuck.

You watch snuff porn don't you.

I don't get why people do that. Jesus fuck. I mean, fuck you're risking a LOT for a group of like 100 people in some fucking backyard.

Also, I'm watching the Spectacular Legacy of the AWA on Netflix right now.

Question:
Was wrestling always known as "fake", or was it more realistic and not even thought of back then??

CZW had a falling out with the company who film their shows/run their iPPVs, so who do they go and get to do their iPPVs now? RF Video. Swing and a miss, CZW, swing and a miss.

Holy fuck.

No one's died in a CZW ring, as of yet. Besides, it's only porn if you get off on it :p

Yeah, it's incredibly reckless, but in rare cases the notoriety from doing stuff like that can pay off - it did for Moxley/Ambrose, got him noticed by the bigger indies, which got him noticed by WWE and 3 years after that match and he's a regular on RAW.

I've been wondering this lately, as well. For instance, the clips they've been showing of Bruno for the HOF have a very boxing-like presentation to them.

I don't get it.

It's just that there's a number of established iPPV providers (WWNLive, GFL, SMV) who would have been a better choice, but instead they go with RF Video who have so far managed to botch their only attempts at iPPV. CZW's in-house iPPVs were never very reliable in the first place, so you'd be forgiven for thinking that they'd take the opportunity to work with a company that are already running their iPPVs with minimal problems.

The 70's was the real changing point in wrestling (at least in some territories), before it had always had a much more sports-like presentation. I think the majority of hardcore fans knew it was worked, but I wouldn't be surprised to find out that many more bought into it big time.

From the latest issue of the Observer:

Two matches discussed over the weekend for WrestleMania were Mark Henry vs. Chris Jericho and Sheamus vs. Wade Barrett.

Vince McMahon was furious after Raw. The piledriver is banned and CM Punk and John Cena didn't get permission to do it in their match, and so he flipped his lid backstage.

It was discussed last week that since Rey Mysterio vs. Sin Cara isn't happening at WrestleMania this year and thus they aren't going to do the deal where they try to set the record for the most people wearing masks in the same place at the same time, instead they might try to set the record for -- wait for it -- "The World's Largest Harlem Shake."

I'm not participating in that shit, I'll see you in the concourse.

They don't realize WM is in April?

That's like 20 years from now in internet time.

People will only care about the Harlem Shake ironically by then.

I watch the Tournament of Death that Thumbtack Jack won recently. Fantastic event, only Masada and BD stunk the place (field?) out. Ambrose/Moxley's selling of the pins in his head was fantastic.

Nick Gage star of the show though - always. All I could think of though was the Excaliber/Stern commentary about Gage's missing bandana from his robbery.

but it's not March yet. So in reality, everyone who posted in the March thread who didn't question why people are posting there are dumb.
