Man, I felt for Issa this episode but it seems like she is finally getting a break. She made a mistake but doesn’t deserve to be shat on every episode.

Lawrence’s karma seems to be coming back. He has been an asshole this season but I still think he can redeem himself. What he did to Tasha was terrible but I don’t think he is a bad guy, he is just hurt. Still an asshole but temporary.

Edit: I was cracking up with that fucking dinner scene. So good.

I think I'm pretty attractive, I don't think I'd every be in a situation like that to be honest. I mean, I'm sure it has happened at sometime in the history of the world but not at all likely.

I've been with the same girl since I was 18 except for a couple breakups before we got married. Been married for 8 years now and I'm 32, so I been out of the game. I do have friends that would definitely meet some random chicks and go smash, no doubt.

Ain't ever been in that specific situation lol, but I feel like I'm weird because it kind of comes down to the price for me, perhaps I could've been swayed lmao

lt's a major red flag to me for some damn strangers to spend $40+ of their money on my ass, and then randomly invite me back to their place. Like there's being nice, and then there's that, where it would set off alarm bells for me.

Whereas if they spent like $5 or less, on something simple, I would've been a lot more receptive if I found myself in Lawrence's shoes.

That said, unlike Lawrence, I've actually seen the movie Get Out, so I'm not in the business of dropping everything I'm doing to go hang out with strangers I just met. Also there'd be the more subtle alarm bell of both of them being interested in me at the same time, and they both know each other, that to me just screams that they're likely into some freaky shit that I probably want no part of. I guess it's easy to say that now after the fact, but I feel like I would've made the right call there.

I honestly thought Lawrence was going to get robbed,badly hurt physically, or even worse.

I have some friends that have met women out in public at the grocery store or similar but not displaying the type of thirst those girls were. The likelihood of something happening like that with one girl is extremely rare but two girls is probably .01% chance.

If I was in Lawrence situation I would have been extremely hesitant but probably would have gone.

I gotta say that Insecure is really close to what ive seen in real life in this scenario. Some of the most promiscuous women I met throughout college all seemed to have a weird obsession with the Weeknd for some reason.

I guess since I live in New York, I feel like if I were in that situation it would be with some NYU/New School girls and we'd be going back to their dorm or whatever. That seems a lot safer to me, so I wouldn't even think twice.

I really like this show a lot. But one thing I've noticed is that everyone on this show is extremely attractive. It's Friends level here where it kinds of makes it not believable.

Completely anecdotal...but they live in LA. The many times I've been there, the young 20 to 30ish somethings were mostly gorgeous.
