So I'm literally sweeping for my future.

the story of a down on his luck custodian, sweeping floors, trying to save up for college and hoping for a shot at the big time


I hate it when my typos get quoted. It's like a permanent reminder that I can't type properly.

I never understand why people say risk/reward. Isn't reward assumed when you're talking about risk? Without an upside, a risky move is just a Dangerous And Bad Idea?

Some things are risky without much upside: Not wearing a seatbelt for example. Or taking out a payday loan. No one should do these things but of course people do.

Some things have a high reward without much or any risk: Brushing your teeth. Or saving for retirement. Everyone should do these things.

But most stuff falls along the risk/reward spectrum.
