They would have to prove it. When you got SCEA/SCEE pumping out stuff like The Last of Us, God of War, Killzone, LittleBigPlanet, inFamous, Motorstorm, Wipeout, Singstar, etc and the only AAA, big budget title SCEJ(A) got to show for is Gran Turismo, then damn right they'll be considered a non Japanese company. They have to prove it first. Give us a big budget JRPG on PS4 and another one on PSV and do that often, 3-4 medium sized games with 1-2 big games for each system per year, bringing new IPs and so on. Like I said, puppeteer, souls sacrifice, knack are good starts, but we need to see more. That stigma may never go completely away in the west (and I don't want it to), but if they want to be considered Japanese in their home country, SCEJA needs to prove it themselves.
