Definitely Wipeout Omega.

Any good recommendations for visual novels? I'm looking for something along the lines of Ace Attorney.
Those are old, old reviews. Little King's Story was fixed some months back by Durante, and nearly all of the old problems are gone. So if you read this, please give the game another look.
The combat really turned me off of this game. I can't stand Arkhams combat either so I guess that kinda makes sense. It's a shame because everything else in the game is fantastic. My vote for an underrated goes to
Hand of Fate
A deck builder rouge-like where the deck you makes the events you encounter. The combat plays like the Arkham series but the real fun is the encounters and the options given. At $5 it's worth the price.
This looks amazing.
Seconding thisNot really like Ace Attorney, but get The House in Fata Morgana. It is incredible.
You could buy Etherlords 1 & 2.

Alright. I'm seeing lot of recommends for House in Fata Morgana.
My question is it just story only, or is there some sort of puzzle/game play aspect as well?
It's a visual novel so it's all reading. There's some parts where you make decisions but it's not like Ace Attorney or Zero Escape where there's a lot of puzzle solving.Alright. I'm seeing lot of recommends for House in Fata Morgana.

A large number of issues were fixed and improvements made in my patch for this, but there are also still some remaining issues. Those are generally rooted in the custom scripting system the game uses, and fixing them would basically require reverse engineering the entire thing. Are you sure? I'm was going to buy it but there really bad reviews AFTER the patch, even on the discussion board there some people still complaining, but they dont specify if they have tested the patched version.
Not sure were they mentioned but i would like to recommend both GO games:
Lara Croft GO (-66%, 3.39)
Hitman GO Definitive Edition (-75%, 1.99)
I love them both. And have them on iOS, Android, PC...
They are great puzzle games and Lara Croft GO recently received The Mirror of Spirits expansion for free. These 2 are very cheap and must buy imo.
Only a few choices here and there.Alright. I'm seeing lot of recommends for House in Fata Morgana.

So for the Gold Editions, you don't have to worry about the toy sets and all that? All content is just unlocked in-game?

Bought Crimson Clover because of this thread and boy is it goooood, and flipped/rotated screen mode on a Surface Pro is awesome for shooters!

Alright, I can get 2 of these 3. Which ones?
Hollow Knight
Pit People
Binding of Isaac Rebirth
Any indie/AA games with a proper story and good gameplay? Aka not a rogue like, not visual novel and not fighting game esque gauntlets.

Had a few questions about some of the "lesser known" games sitting on my wishlist. Hoping I can get some clarifications on a few of them:
2. Higurashi When They Cry: A bit back I remember that work was being done to include the voice acting from the PS2 version, in addition to other mods. Did that ever get released?
5. The House in Fata Morgana: Lots of people raving about this one, but I was just wondering if it had voice acting, as well as the length of the VN itself.
Here's a little write-up if you want a more substantial response. What's the consensus on hollow knight?

Bought Hollow Knight and Salt and Sanctuary so far. Already have Valdis Story and Ys. Don't care for roguelikes/ lites. Are there are any cheap kind of old-style sidescrolling/ isometric action games I should look at?
