I'm not really into later Unseen, but this is one of my favorite songs by them: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZRrskER6fk
Well fuck
Fuck you Whitney Houston, this guy was better and more important, but no-one's going to care are they?

if you care about the history of punk, this is an absolute must read. It's told all through previous interviews, so it's all dialogue/people reciting crazy ass stories. MC5 and the Stooges are covered pretty heavily too
Speaking of "must-[consume]", this is a must-listen to album. I've mentioned them here before in this thread but I'm gonna do it again cuz their album is streaming now. It's Classics of Love's debut LP, and it's unreal. COL is Jesse Michaels from Op Ivy being backed by the dudes from the Hard Girls. It's unbelievable and a nice throwback to 80's harccore

Punk is awesome, but Punk-GAF kinda disappoints me here. Five pages and no mention of one of the best and most legendary punk albums ever made?
any bands out there like pennywise?

That old hippie in the front row is cool.
Awesome stuff, love to listen to that followed by this:
Old school goth punk/deathrock. This song is fucking incredible.

Great album! It's a shame that everything after that isn't very good. Rozz Williams industrial project Premature Ejaculation was far more interesting.
Here's one of the originators of death rock, Theatre of Ice
Yeah, I have both albums
I like Mission Mohawk but didn't care for Sucker Stories too much.
Got to see Oxymoron several times before they broke up. One of the last times being here in Connecticut where they played in front of 10 people in the middle of a snow storm.
I had to listen to the singer from Toxic Narcotic cry like a baby all night about the bad turnout and how hey drove all they way from Boston. While the band from Germany didn't say a peep and played a great set for the few of us that were there.
Definitely one of my favorite bands.
PROPAGANDHI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FUCK YEAH!
Here's one yall probably haven't heard. Spanish punk band from Portland, Oregon - Adelit@s. One of my favorite songs from them.
And I'm curious: does anyone here identify as punk? Like, is it a key element of your self-identified style and politics?
