Good analogy/assessment actually. I'd call it still very critical but more stable now overseas. At least it hasn't you know deteriorated past that. I want to say its in severely critical condition here in the US and Europe. I won't use the term grave condition yet. Somehow, it is managing to survive..barely but it is still managing that none the less.
How viable is it to play for a person that has zero knowledge of Japanese?
How many playthroughs are required for this?
Sorry for the non-stop questions, I'm just kind of busy nowadays and try to manage my time as well as I can...
Thanks for the feedback. I still have the game around somewhere but since I'm getting a Vita soon is the game is dirt cheap on PSN (for Japanese standards) I will probably transfer my saves and double dip on digital.
Seriously how can SE leave a good FF game like this only for Japan and doesn't bring it here in the west?
It's their biggest franchise worldwide ... they don't want our money?
Ok PSP is dead in the west.... but how about an HD port to the PS3 instead? other companies did an HD port from handles to consoles so why not to do the same thing?
You need money... we need this game, it's simple!
I dunno, I bought it on UMD. I'd buy a Vita if this came out for it, though.

I have it on UMD too! I just don't use my PSP *at all* anymore, whereas I'll definitely have my Vita with me for commute and whatnot. I'll probably never get around beating the game on PSP ahah...
Type-0 PSN being 2100¥ is nice too, that's only like 15.
Yeah, that's half what I paid for the UMD.
I finally picked it up on my Vita with UMD passport.. Reishiki for 500y? Fuck yes!
The yen gets cheaper by the day thanks to our traitorous prime minister who is determined to make export companies profitable at the expense of his own nation's savers. A year or so ago, one yen was worth more than one euro cent!
I'm going to pull the trigger. Is play Asia my best choice?

Also, MagiusNecros, I have to thank you for the hard work you've been doing on the translation. You're doing a great service to us fans, sir!
I heard the game was translated, and Dubbed in english, I want to know why this isn't out, why is SE doing this!

It was a PSP game in the wrong place (the west) at the wrong time (when most retailers dropped the PSP).
They should really port this game to the 3DS for the sake of everyone.
Part of me feels this was done on purpose but don't mind me.
Son't be silly. They wouldn't have gone through the translation work if they had intended on just plain not releasing it and planned it accordingly with the western PSP decline.
I honestly think they thought the Vita would take off and they would be safe. And then boom.
I can believe that. Wonder if they'll use FFXHD to guage their Vita viability.
Probably not a good measure though as there's the PS3 version too.
It seems no one post it yet, so here is an article from Operation Suzaku about Robin Kodaira, Localization Specialist/Project Manager at Square Enix who worked (at is still working?) on the Final Fantasy Type-0 localization.

They really should. Moreso because I have a 3DS therefore I selfishly want more stuff for it.

Hey! The 3DS already have Bravery Default ok? Let the Vita get some FF love (that's not a remake.)
All for me. None for you.
Jokes on you! I got both the 3DS and Vita.I just happened to love my Vita more
