I'll be honest, I'm not a huge fan of the track circuits and that looks like one of the blander ones. Will have to play it first though.

Yeah I'm with you on that, it'll probably look better in a faster car but just seems a bit flat really.

I love those lightweight cars. Very happy with the inclusion of this Lotus 7 based Caterham. Hopefully we will see a Lotus Elise in future DLC. That would make the lightweight catagory complete (at least for me)
I know it's opinions and all.......
But how is it easier?!?!, not only is is dark, on a track with minimum lighting, it's pissing it down with rain!!!, I guess you just need to be very familiar with the track, but I fail to see how, in anyway, it's easier
Just practice the same track in the dry with the same car till you can do it blindfolded. ;-)

I wouldn't say that, I've played the game pretty much every day since launch and had 1 crash to the xmb in all that time. It's frustrating when it happens but it's very rare in my experience.

I read people talking about it on here after the weather update and realized I wasn't familiar at all with the course.
And seeing the stats of distance driven was really eye opening.
Now The Kyle in reverse is one of my favorites for sure. Great trakc. Love racing it in the morning sun-rise.

It was a bit quiet over here last night, with a lot of 6 player races when I was on around 11pm. I think a lot will be back on when the Japanese tracks arrive.

Really good run.
I loved the small jumps at high speed. I usually mess them up since I'm always doing small corrections by instinct and it's easy to lose grip that way.1:20:188 on venom hot lap 2!

First two corners, the last chicane and the last corner are the most important parts to nail, the ghost is quick here.
There is also a series of three turns that you really need to hit just right and take as one to get the most out of it, and, the last tight corner preceding the final chicane is well worth taking slow to gain the fastest exit and the fastest amount of speed through the last chicane.
Just IMO of course, but that's how I did it.
There are a number of club specific cars, that are tied to club levels, if you aren't in a club, you won't get a chance to use them.

No, but you will miss out on a few cars as they're unlocked based on club level.
If you just join a random club it isn't going to interfere with anything you want to do on your own and you'll get access to the cars they've unlocked.

My game crashed just before the finish line on a track in Chile, just as the fireworks started exploding.

I did that last night, as someone else already said, don't be afraid of using the other cars to get around corners, you're slow but heavy as shit.

Having eye-gasms playing this game. So enjoyable. 24.99 is a steal for anyone who is on the fence.
Well as long as it doesnt happen again, its fine but many games function without crash's at all even on the pc. It shouldn't be happening on a console.
For some reason I kept losing control in the last corner. There were times when I got ahead of the ghost even before the last corner and all I needed was to power through. Kept doing something really stupid. Will try again sometime today

That's pressure for you, I hate challenges with tricky last bends cos if your ahead you can't help but think "don't mess up that last bend" and of course you do :-(

I finally learned to play without the HUD. But I honestly wish there was *something* on the screen to notify me when I beat the challenges. I know there is a sound, but that goes usually unnoticed by me
