I was hoping to see a review build show up before release, but with Memorial Day tomorrow, chances are I won't get my hands on it until the PS Store updates on Tuesday.

I have a Hori original Real Arcade Pro for PS2 with the mirror top, along with a Pelican PS2 to USB adapter for use on PS3. I wonder if my stick will work with the adapter on PS4?

I know most people on Gaf are addicted to games and have no lives but some people dont really have time to "Read the thread title" or post all damn day. I glanced and saw the game name and figured I would quickly ask because I was sure people here would know. Typical that I am responded to with elitest bullshit. Sorry guys, a little too busy making arrangements for my mom who I recently found dead. So fuck all yall.
Reading thread titles is elitist bullshit now? K den.

Sorry for your loss

Not too sure about that one but I'm thinking it may not work because the driver is specially designed for the pcbs inside actual PS3 sticks. I could be wrong but I feel like the drivers for these things are built like that.

Can someone who has it confirm the filesize please? Hoping I can download this remotely before I get in from work tomorrow but the PS3 version was already pretty huge from what I remember. Those uncompressed 1080p cinematics.

Hmmm, you're probably right, but only one way to find out I suppose.

For a street fighter noob but someone who wants wants to stick around for sfv and try and get good with someone...anyone I should try and main?

When I played soul calibur I wasn't too bad with Nightmare so I don't mind the slow and powerful types over uber quick ninjas but I don't really mind having a go at either. I like the look of M Bison, Makoto or Ibuki

I'm no expert, but Ryu is the "Adam" of fighting games, and Street Fighter of course. If you learn him, you learn Street Fighter.

Deejay is pretty solid.

What are you more comfortable with learning, motion or charge? If motion, Ryu. If charge, Guile. Both will demand that you learn their normals and proper distancing to accomplish anything, which will give you the foundation you need to play as other characters you might actually feel an affinity towards.

I look forward to picking up where I left from Super Street Fighter IV. I wasnt too bad with Cammy and Guy. But I suppose my main concern is that the netcode is going to be terrible since I will playing through an American account in Europe.

For what it's worth, I play Siegfried (duh) and I like Makoto as well. You could also try T.Hawk, he's got a long range and is pretty powerful. Of course, to play him properly you need to learn the 360 degree motions and he's extremely unlikely to return in SF5, but he's quite fun anyway.

Damn I completely blanked out on this would have set aside some doe oh well I'll play it after E3.

Hope it works with my xbox 360 to ps3 arcade stick converter

I haven't read the whole thread , so apologies if this question has been asked already. I have a MadCatz SF4 joypad with 6 face buttons that I bought for PS3. Is there any chance this will work on PS4?

How come I can't see this on the PlayStation store in Australia? Do you use a U.S. Account?

Euro here, cannot see it either

The listing has not been put up in any of the stores I believe. The people who managed to get it early (through giveaways.MVP stuff) redeemed a code for it.

Honestly don't understand why they didn't put this up for preorder on the store so a midnight download can happen as soon as it comes up. It is on their servers already.

This will give me some good time. I really need some break from mkx. Also I find SF easier than mk for me.

This would've been the perfect weekend to release the game . A lot of people off from work/school (at least in the States) 2 massive tournaments going on ...This "must release games only on Tuesday" think is annoying as fuck some times..

For the newcomers, don't pick anyone that anyone tells you. Pick whoever INTRIGUES you! Pick a character that you like. When I was new to this genre, I played SFIV and I was like "Hmm, I have no idea how to do anything with anyone but this red-headed lady looks awesome" of course, I was referring to C.Viper.

If you know C.Viper, she's anything but noob-friendly since she is one of the most technical characters. Fast forward to now and fighting is my favorite genre (second only to horror) and I like to think that I'm decent with Viper. :)

Just pick whoever you like and stick by them, learn how they function until they feel like "home". Like the character you are most comfortable with.

Can't wait.

Here's some nice 1080p60fps footage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOs0bXzkuNI
Does'nt seem to have any AA, I wonder why good IQ is the last thing on the minds of certain devs, Capcom in particular, this game runs in excess of 300fps on any entry level gpu. I hope it has 16xAF at least. So many of these remasters are so disappointing this gen, there's hardly any visual polish or enhancements besides the standard rez upgrade, so you wonder what took them so long with the port in the first place. I miss Itagaki's pride in a quality product with good IQ, especially a remake, Capcom isn't even trying here.

yeah it would be neat to see more folks release games on Friday or Sunday like Nintendo does.

Has there been any info on when we'll be able to download this in the UK or US yet? It's weird having to wait to download stuff on the PS4 now, so used to pre-loading.

EDIT:
Just so people know, there have been people streaming this live on Live from PlayStation for a few days now but they don't show up under the Game heading (because it hasn't been released yet?) but if you search for the game you will see them.

I see no AF on the video. Go fullscreen and look at the second to last fight (vs Dudley). I see no AF there. OK, maybe there is a bit, but it looks bad, definitely not x16.
