These DMC5 rumors have been the most polarizing thing I've seen in the gaming world for a long time. It's obvious that they're working on something, but when we actually get it announced is anyone's guess. They're honestly putting too much effort into getting the series back in the public eye to not be working on something, but I have a gut feeling that they're not far in development at all. Perhaps they're starting the promotion now to announce it much later from now?

Even if every character plays the same and the costumes are purely cosmetic, Vergil will find a way to break the game.
People used to make threads like these and got away with it especially when mobile games of other franchises were more common. Remember that KoF thread? Not too long ago.

So yeah I don't think he had any malicious intent behind it but it was certainly not the right thing to do.

People have been banned for insider information being wrong before.
Verendus has claimed existence of DMC5 but not confirmed it for E3. He made a list of stuff that he thinks will be at E3 and DMC5 was on that list.
