That YouGov poll is odd. I'm not sure who wants to know what Republicans think about Democratic superdelegates, for example.

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus said in an interview Sunday that presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump will "have to answer" for the reports about his behavior toward women.

"I also think there are things from many years ago, and I think that, you know, as Christians, judging each other I think is — is problematic," Priebus said on ABC's "This Week."

"I think it’s when people live in glass houses and throw stones is when people get in trouble."

The chairman reiterated that Trump isn't being judged based on his personal life.

"I think people are judging Donald Trump as to whether or not he's someone that's going to go to Washington and shake things up," he said.

@RalstonReports
Sources tell me that the lovely Bernie folks posted state Dem Chair @rlange9's cell #, and she has been getting a flood of nasty calls. 1/2

Convention ended w/security shutting it down, Bernie folks rushed stage, yelling obscenities, throwing chairs. Unity Now! On to Philly 2/2

Yeah, I'm ready for these folks to crawl back into whatever hole they crawled out of.

I am not kidding.

I work a stone's throw from the convention center in Philly where this will all be happening.

If any of these Bernie people fuck up my commute and/or the alignment of my chakras with their foolishness...

Isn't the DNC going to be held at the Wells Fargo Center?

It's weird, neither independents or Democrats have any idea how to describe Trump's political ideology. Over 30% "Not Sure" for both. They just know that Trump is horrible, lol.

Republicans think Trump is a moderate to a moderate conservative.

After this, it's definitely clear that Bernie staying in the race has done more harm than good.
which is why i hope he loses oregon so he can truly start the process of dropping out. if he does lose i hope the media hits him hard about losing a state everybody thought he would win easily. his idiot diehards are going to keep doing damage and turning a lot of moderate bernie supports into hardcore fanatics that will refuse to vote democrat in nov.

“Who else was on the list?” he [Ben Carson] asked quietly, maintaining his usual inscrutable calm. The most favorably regarded contenders after himself, he was told, were John Kasich, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Sarah Palin and Chris Christie.

“Those are all people on our list,” he said.

Palin over Fallin is an interesting choice considering that Republicans like Fallin and hate Palin at this point.

The main event will be at the Wells Fargo Center, yes (which, double fuck, THAT'S the area where I LIVE). But all the smaller events and committee meetings will be held at the convention center. Also, I imagine everyone flying in for the the convention will be staying in all the luxury hotels surrounding the convention center in Center City...unless they want to stay at the Holiday Inn next to Wells Fargo. lol

spent some time watching this frontline documentary called The Age of Aids. It follows the timeline of the disease and how it started to spread throughout the states, and the public's reaction to it. For example, July 1981 - a doctor talks about a patient he saw that month exhibiting signs of a rare disease, but no one yet knew what had caused the immune deficiency for a young man to degenerate to such a devastating degree that the rare affliction could develop. The 80's footage really brings you back into the time. The subject matter delves into the early public sentiment of the time, i.e aids affects gay men and why should we spend public money to assuage the consequences of their sinful lifestyle. you can get really get your Reagan hate going, if you are so inclined. It's a fascinating watch and I encourage anyone to take a look.

Obama is killing it at this Rutgers commencement address. Not naming names but roasting The Wall and the Muslim ban proposal.

He's so clearly impatient to get out on the campaign trail again.

Trump is basically a dude bro's Dream the article talks about his relationships with models flying around in helicopters and bikini pool parties. He's like the real estate version or Hugh Hefner which low information voters find appealing. These are women who wanted something from him which I don't condone but come on you don't show up to a billionaires pool party in a bikini expecting to have a chat about your Doctoral thesis. You don't become a model to show off anything other than your body. You hear dudes in business suits walking down the street comparing T&A and their conquests nightly at any given bar.

Contrast that with Bill who seems more like a predator using his political influence to pressure young girls and women who were legitimately working in an office or political environment into unwanted sexual situations and it's a bit of a different story.

Neither approach is right but I don't think your average Trump supporter is really going to care: in fact they might admire him more sadly.

Racism will hopefully kill his candidacy but I don't think sexism will.

So people are literally calling for mass violence at the DNC over at r/s4p now.

They had better not, or this will be me in them streets:

After this, it's definitely clear that Bernie staying in the race has done more harm than good.

It's less that he's stayed in and more the way that his tactics and message have changed while doing so. If he were just running around, pounding the drum on his issues, that'd be one thing (and don't get me wrong, he's still doing a fair bit of that).

But lately, it seems like he and his campaign have shifted focus almost entirely from "here's what's important" to "Hillary and the DNC are CORRUPT and AWFUL and STEALING THE ELECTION," which does nothing but hurt our chances in November. How can he credibly pivot to fighting Trump and the Republicans in the general when he's thrown the Democratic Party under the bus so many times? Sure, he throws out the occasional "any Democrat would be preferable to Trump," but that's such a tiny subset of his message I can't really call it credible. It's like that asshole friend everybody has that tops off all the asshole things they say with "just a joke, bro." It's simply not believable coming from him.

It must drive them insane that the media is making Bernie supporters in Nevada look like a bunch of whiny children throwing a temper tantrum.

Which is what they are, so it's not like it's inaccurate.

Exactly. Although I would argue that this isn't recent. Attacking Hillary and the DNC has become central to his stump since, I'd argue, the Michigan upset. He's been smearing Hillary from the very beginning, but that's when I noticed it ramping up. Winning Michigan gave him false hopes that he was about to stage some dramatic Rocky comeback...but then Hillary dashed his dreams utterly the next week at The Battle of Wall of Winning, killing his campaign a second time. He's been real mad ever since.

I hope the DNC primaries him. Just for the embarrassment of it.

I read on r/Hillaryclinton that she's having back to back campaign events today and tomorrow followed by a speech Tuesday night in Kentucky. I'm thinking her internals are looking good for that state.

Counterpoint:

On r/Hillaryisacorporateshill they said fraud reports were rampant in Kentucky

Trump is a fucking insane person:

Donald Trump said Sunday that he believes refugees will launch a terrorist attack against the United States comparable in size to the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.

Asked on the National Border Patrol Council’s Green Line radio show if he thought it would take another terrorist attack the size of the Sept. 11 attacks to make people “wake up about border security,” Trump answered, “I do, I actually do.”

“Bad things will happen – a lot of bad things will happen,” continued Trump. “There will be attacks that you wouldn’t believe. There will be attacks by the people that are right now that are coming into our country, because, I have no doubt in my mind.”

Trump said refugees coming into the U.S. had cellphones with ISIS flags on them, and questioned how refugees could afford cell phones, suggesting ISIS paid the monthly fees.

“I mean you look at it, they have cell phones,” said Trump. “So they don’t have money, they don’t have anything. They have cell phones. Who pays their monthly charges, right? They have cell phones with the flags, the ISIS flags on them. And then we’re supposed to say, ‘isn’t this wonderful that we’re taking them in?’ We’re led by people that are either incompetent or they don’t have the best interest of our country at heart.”

https://www.buzzfeed.com/andrewkaczynski/donald-trump-says?utm_term=.ika60rKx7#.xkOGvWxb2

So, to summarize, Trump claims that ISIS bought cell phones for refugees and is paying their bills so that the Syrian refugees can do another 9/11 and he seems to imply that Obama wants Syrian refugees to do another 9/11.

Everyone around Trump has been saying that Gingrich is being considered and Ben doesn't even mention him. I thought he was the one running the selection process! Who do I believe?! I've got money running on this!

Racism will hopefully kill his candidacy but I don't think sexism will.

The gender gap has been a central part of the Dems winning anything for a while now, Trump is just going to exacerbate the problem with how he runs against Hillary. If what we've seen in the last few weeks is any indication the gender gap is going to explode in November.

Newt would be my dream pick, because that would end the election then and there, but it's going to be Christie. If all my betting money wasn't already tied up in the general I'd put some on it.

The VP pick is going to happen pretty soon (I think?) and Trump will have an even higher chance of winning once he wraps up the nom and starts debating Hillary and CNN pushes their dead heat narrative. So my plan is to use the short term gains from the VP shitshow to bet on a Trump loss when he's at his highest, which I don't think is now.
