He mentioned it on Frame Trap as one of the games he needs to play but didn't feel like he had time due to Destiny 2 and the upcoming games to be reviewed, so he played something low stakes (
Steamworld Dig 2
) instead. Something along those lines, that's my paraphrasing of what I remember him saying when I listed like 5 hours ago haha.

Cup of Jones is ace, the change from edited to live video isn't huge, especially in the second video, with the fancy intro/outro and background music.

Jones is awesome as always.

That's nothing compared to the anount of content I consumed over the weekend. The SNES stream, destiny raid, Fiasconauts, q&a, the weekly shows and paper pals. Whew it was a lot.

Got a lot caught up in destiny in the process. So it was multi tasking.

It's fair for Ben to lose points for swearing, but Huber and Damiani should have failed automatically for plagiarism and not citing sources.

Loved Damiani's enthusiasm. Ben would've gotten points for design, but he had that one slide.

Won't watch the rest now since I plan to try Cuphead with friends tomorrow.

Ben's Visuals should have been knocked down for the red font on the Sheldon-slide alone, omg. :D Very fun presentations regardless, the BBC clip is so awesome, could watch it another thousand times.

I'm really looking forward to this, finally finished the game yesterday. After beating TLOU a few weeks ago I went on a tear watching all the post-beating-the-game content I could find, but there seems to be a dearth of that in regards to P5. Hook me up Allies!

Just watched the presentations. All 3 were absolutely brilliant.

I wonder if Damiani knows that Planet Earth scene was of a number of iguanas and not the same one?

I'm so happy EasyAllies is working out for this group of fine, fine people. I only got into Gametrailers towards the back end of it's lifespan, so to see them continue on a year strong now is fantastic.

Also Tabletop Escapades was the first D&D podcast I followed that helped me get into D&D and run my own game - so thanks for that too!

I'm still not feeling the change in AC combat. I think Shadow of War might just edge out Origins for me this year. I'm totally playing both on release though. I'll have way more fun exploring in AC though.

You know, the Middle Earth games really took the Brotherhood concept from Assassin's Creed and really made something out of it. I'm sad AC ditched the concept after 3, especially considering Black Flag had you in charge of a nameless crew where it totally would have made sense to recruit unique individuals.

Nah, it shouldn't be cut out. It's too important part of the presentation.

I think EZA would probably been fine with uploading the whole thing. Sure, who knows, maybe BBC would've demonetized the the video. Worst case scenario, they might even forcefully take it down and give Easy Allies Plays a copyright strike, which doesn't harm EZA in any way, unless they get three of them, but to my understanding, they have none so far.

Not putting up the presentation up on YouTube was still the professional thing to do, because it's never a good look when you get a strike for breaking copyright laws, so it was a good call on their part as a pseudo-company. But I mean, if an unrelated third party, who's just a fan, were to upload the presentations on YouTube, professionalism is hardly an excuse. They're already not technically respecting copyrights by uploading EZA content, unless they get a permission to do so.

They could easily cut it out to upload to Youtube and just leave Damiani's slide up that has the link to it.

I think so. It was the part of the presentation that Ian praised the most, and for the viewers, the Allies' reactions were what elevated an already good video into something even greater. If you just give people a link and tell them to go watch the original video there, it's not going to be the same thing.

The best thing to do is to click the link for the individual post so you're on a screen with just that post and its comments, rather than trying to expand the comments on the Patreon home page.
