Eat yer macaroons you whore.

So this show is strange and the pacing is Sanic levels of fast compared to the OVA. Also these new character designs are awful and this wonderful seiyuu cast will keep me watching.

I thought it was announced as a 2 cour? Did I read it wrong?
It was never announced as a 2-cour series. Hell, it's even confirmed in this interview:

Yoshida: This is a one-cour series, so just doing a love story would be difficult. I thought it would be better organized with having a long-awaited shopping district as the setting. I converted it towards an adolescent plus kindness type direction.

Use google next time before claiming something as fact.

??? I was remembering something I had read and i remembered it wrong. Sorry that I happen to remember it differently than what was. We're not all perfect like you.

Why do you hate fun?

I don't. I just don't find shows with... pointlessness all that fun. It's rare that I enjoy those types of shows.

So where does
Cure Flower
fit in your OTPs?

While she is pretty
in Cure form, she's still a grandma now.

Endgame here we come!

Man, I was going to give Dune shit because I thought he looked goofy with those faded eyes.. but then he proceeded to
one-shot every Cure including Cure Flower which made me shut up.
:lol

3 episodes left,
which will be completed tomorrow!

One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee.
If that scene was animated by SHAFT, we would be able to see all of their panties.

I was expecting the main story to have kicked in by now. I don't mind self-contained stories with the same cast, but it doesn't feel like it's going anywhere with it. I guess you could say it lacks clear direction and instead is focusing on themes. But they haven't really been diving into themes either. It feels like it's just dipping it's toes in at this point. It's certainly cute though, with great art, but much like the show itself I feel quite half-hearted when I watch it.

From the New World 17:
Hey this episode is great, and now it's over---wait a minute, that's not Wareta Ringo! Dammit, you can't taunt me by not changing the ending at the midway point, and then just pull it out from me in the 17th episode.

Who knew that
playing god
could have disastrous consequences? The third arc starts up in a great way, and we have some really good character interactions.
Yakomaru and Kiroumaru going back and forth and reacting to what the other one was saying was great. Kiroumaru had some great reaction shots.
Saki seems to have lost her way somewhat.
She's now basically playing god just as much as all of the people did with her, except because she's doing it with 'monster rats' it doesn't seem as bad to her.
There's a lot of intrigue for the coming episodes set up here, and this arc really does feel like a big shift in direction for where the show is heading. It will be exciting to see how everything turns out.

I really think the new ED pales in comparison to the old one. Really disappointed.

Don't be an ass. It's got nothing to do with memory but with simply fact checking things before stating them as fact.

The market demands panty shots, and that's what the market will have.

Well, the Madoka Magica girls definitely have them if the figurines are anything to go by.

So there was some Azunyan vs Anko talk earlier and I just wanted to briefly chime in on that. I don't think this is a fair comparison - in fact, I'm not even sure that I see the comparison. While they are both arguably adorable, Akno is still just a kid. Azunyan, on the other hand, is a fully grown woman. But her appeal isn't just in her looks - she is also unintentionally moe, without any excuse (whereas Anko has reason to be). Despite her maturity in other areas, her density to contextual situations (as well as her ability to be easily manipulated) is highly unbecoming of her own self perceptions! In this sense she becomes a paradox unto herself. A lovable walking contradiction who is constantly the epitome of what she tries so hard not to be. Her frustrations and refusal to accept this is easily projectable for any average person. While one could certainly treat Azunyan as a woman (and expect her body to respond as one) she is also capable of satisfying the viewer's lustful desire for innocence at the same time. Azunyan is not only a complex character study, but a reflection, and commentary of our own needs.

Your post came across as a dickish so I responded accordingly. Also, it's not a matter of fact checking. I just happen to post as I recalled it and got it wrong. I'm sure if you think it's a fact because of that's how you remember it you would post it as such, no? It just happened that I was wrong. You don't have to be an ass in correcting me.

Honestly, I always thought the ED was all about dem visuals. Wareta Ringo just sounded like a throwaway J-pop song to me.

The music is great. I definitely don't think it's a 'throwaway J-pop song'. And it really fits the visuals, too. As a complete package, that ending is something really special.

I was making a passing observation off of visual similarities having not seen the series, but I appreciate this... uh, analysis nonetheless.

Extollere is saying that we are all the Azunyan.
So deep.

K-ON! is deep.
I don't think I could have described Azusa any better than that.
