Bad? I thought it was a wonderful episode ignoring a few minor thing (that angle chosen made it seem like Aladdin had a huge forehead). Judar proved just how awesome he is and how he deserves the best character award easily. My favorite personality and one I want to get behind fully. I hope he plays a larger role in this anime or rather franchise as I could probably never get tired of him. I think it would be a nice recurring thing if he had to continually face Alibaba/Aladdin. I think whats not clear is his relationship to Sinbad, unless its already been stated and Ive just forgotten?
He stated he wouldn't kill him
. I think I like him better using his own innate abilities versus channeling it through a djinn, aladdin as well, giants arent interesting characters.

Powerpoint slideshow thing in the middle of the episode was just plain awkward and there were lots of moments lacking music, though overall good battle and hope the climax next episode delivers.
Solomon's wisdom seemed epic, if it can really be some time of power augmentor to aid a team final blow from Aladdin/Alibaba then it could really be a powerful conclusion.

From megane girls to megane boys, this show understands what is important. I hope the show remains in this sort cycle with standalone stories rather than kicking into any major storyline, I feel like it works very well in this way. The upbeat silliness lends itself well to the self contained nature of each episode.

Australians rejoice, Siren Visual has licensed the first season of Chihayafuru for a DVD release this year.

Anyway, I hope you are all still enjoying the AOTY results and that I didn't fuck things up too badly. Also, to whoever was planning on taking on the all-time task, I'd be glad to help in any capacity.

DVD?

That makes me sad. Might as well just stick with lower bitrate 720/1080 streams.

So you gonna watch AO right?

Sequels are hit and miss in Mecha shows. The Second Raid was amazing, Endless Waltz was okay, but SEED Destiny and Prince of Darkness were . . . disappointing.

Eureka Seven 49

There's room for this kind of show too. Relaxed stuff like Aria and Sora no Woto and Tamako Market is sweet nectar for the heart. Unwind, sit back and relax to an episode or two of this anime soulfood and you just feel at ease.

Blast of Tempest 14-15

What the hell is even going on? Did I stumble onto another show by accident? The new OP and lack of inappropriate Hamlet quotes is really bumming me out.

The Light of El Cantare
BONES is close to being synonymous with failure now.

Oh, I'm already there after Tempest. I now fully consider their involvement with anything a liability rather than an asset.

...except for movies, I guess. Milos was good, Star Driver movie will probably be good.

Dead

well not really...yet
So which one of you that gonna come to my house to strangled me if I'm saying I enjoy Xam'd more than E7?
Xamd was good. Just disappointing because it had the makings of something excellent. Saying its bad is crazy talk.

I'm amazed this isn't a real thing yet, where girls dress up as animals and eat and drink while you fawn over them.

OH.
MY.
GOD.
*hooks up defribillators just in case

Finally finished the last 3 episodes of Fate Stay Night. Actually liked it alot but really disliked the ending.

It was a lot better for me since I watched it before I was told it sucked.
Also before I saw Fate Zero and REALIZED FSN sucks lol.

There's no point in martyring someone who can simply be forced to live in ignominy instead.

And yet the Bones cycle endures.

Feels bad. My inner teenager from the middle of the anime boom just can't let go.

Space Dandy will save them.

Nah, Space Dandy is doomed thanks to Romain. Watanabe's vision is going to get Basquash'd.

I thought its was really good too, the story were BS (Let be real all BONES Sci-fi does too, its all the matter they can engage you to the story too. And usually they do, like E7 and Wolf's Rain case.)

I love the slow pacing, its look and sounds great too.

Maybe its bad because yall need to endure ducky's hype lol.

You don't know the meaning of the word disappointment until you've seen AO. Damn, that show is so freaking awful it writes itself out of existence. As much as I despise GSD, nothing can compare to the travesty of AO.

Encouragement of Climb BD to Include Unaired Episode

The official website for the Encouragement of Climb (Yama no Susume) series revealed on Wednesday that the anime's Blu-ray Disc release will include an unaired 13th episode. The tentatively titled "Bouldering ni Chōsen!" episode will be about five minutes long and include a shower scene.

The anime series will ship on a single 50-minute Blu-ray Disc on May 24 for 7,350 yen (about US$81). In addition to the 13th episode, the video extras will include the full-length music video for the anime's theme "Staccato Days" by Yuka Iguchi and Kana Asumi, a "marathon mode" that will allow viewers to watch all twelve episodes back to back without individual openings and endings, and a collection of television commercials.

The set will also bundle a priority ticket application for a planned event, a booklet, a clear sleeve for the Digipak packaging, cover art by character designer Yuusuke Matsuo, and a postcard drawn by Encouragement of Climb manga creator Shiro.

BluRay bonuses.

You just have to narrow your browser so they're all on the same column.

Speaking of Blu-ray bonuses...
The official website for the Nozoki Ana original video anime revealed on Thursday that there will be a "Sexy Extended Edition" Blu-ray that will include an additional new segment. The anime will first be bundled on DVD with the limited edition of the manga's 13th and final volume on February 28. It will then be released on Blu-ray on May 24.

Wakoh Honna's original manga centers around Tatsuhiko Kido, a young man who moves from the countryside to Tokyo to attend a vocational school in the spring. He discovers a tiny hole in a wall of his new room, and although he looks in from time to time, he sees nothing at first. However, one day, he spies a girl.

According to Getchu.com, the anime will star Daisuke Hirakawa (School Days' Makoto, Samurai Girls' Muneakira Yagyū) as protagonist Tasuhiko, Sara Kirigamine as Emiru Ikuno, and Mayu Hino as Yuri Kotobiki. Katsuhiko Nishijima (Agent Aika, Najica Blitz Tactics, Project A-Ko) is directing the anime at Studio Fantasia (Lagrange - The Flower of Rin-ne Season 2, Rumbling Hearts, Stratos 4). Masahiro Okubo (Bleach, Sugar Sugar Rune) wrote the scripts, and Masaaki Sakurai (Demonbane) designed the characters.

The Blu-ray will retail for 5,040 yen (about US$55).

Just another sad story of how the Japanese are conditioned to sacrifice personal goals and desires because they have to devote themselves to the organisations that they work for. It's basically like Hataraki Man.
