Ahahahaha, this got me.
This thread is perfect for lightening my mood on the way to a funeral.
Nope. Just curious.
I'm literally at a church right now.Got me too, hahaha, fucking PopGAF.
Earlier, this thread was filled with people hoping we were headed to a funeral.
I'm literally at a church right now.
Uh oh, I think I finally figured out what's wrong with PS4's RAM.
Turns out all the contents of the RAM are erased (!) when you unplug the console :s
You people have absolutely no senses of humor.
The church... of Sony! OUR CERNY, WHO ART IN 8GB-DDR5 HEAVEN, HALLOWED BE THY GAMES.
So, I ain't readin' 2000 posts, especially if this thread went the way I think it did...
Is this an apt summary of this thread?
- Nebulous tweet from some duder who thinks there might be "bad news" on the horizon for Sony.
- Thread gets posted.
- Anti-Sony fanboys come flocking in full of glee and smiles.
- News turns out to not be a reduction of RAM.
- Anti-Sony fanboys scamper back off into the woods, editing posts left and right
- PS4 is architecturally the same as we thought it was last week
Am I in the ballpark?
HOW MUCH FOR THAT TAG?!You people have absolutely no senses of humor.
Too much blinded hope without any hindsight !
Guys, it's nothing serious, Sony just cut the RAM amount in ha-OH MA GAHD
So, the portuguese Eurogamer already published the article, and says that the developers can access up to 5.5GB of RAM. The rest is reserved to the OS.
See ? Too much overhype ! Too much blinded hope without any hindsight !

If this is real then the scare was sorta justified. So, the portuguese Eurogamer already published the article, and says that the developers can access up to 5.5GB of RAM. The rest is reserved to the OS.
When Sony said only 1gb for the OS I knew I smelled Bullshit.
Oh shit more drama and floods. So, the portuguese Eurogamer already published the article, and says that the developers can access up to 5.5GB of RAM. The rest is reserved to the OS.

Leadbetter is certainly betting the farm on this one.
3.5gb for the OS, with a flexible "return" of 1gb, giving anywhere from 4.5gb to 5.5gb to games.
And nobody else had heard anything? I am not entirely sure how this could be real. No sign of article on English site, even though its Leadbetter?
