Injustice legs seem to be better than MK9's. Then again, it might just appear that way because of the dry release schedule.

Still, it's got to be over a million at this point, or at least close to it.

So WiiU is DOA until a price drop it seems. If they don't do a price drop for the holidays and new consoles then might as well pack it up. Even then I'm not sure a price drop will save the system.

Pachter pls

Yeah, he wants to compare leading consoles this-gen with previous-gen? He might as well compare the 360 with the PS2 then; the whole industry is "underwhelming" in this way. I hope he doesn't expect things to change for next-gen consoles such as the PS4 or Xbox One, because that trend is going to continue.

I bet that demo turned a lot of people off. I love RPGs and was set to buy it till I played that demo, but the atrocious animu character models did it no favors either.

The demo probably helped, since it is the best selling in the franchise.

August has Pikmin 3, Disney Infinity, Madden 25, Dragon's Crown, Mario and Luigi: Dream Team, Black 3DS XL, Tales of Xillia, The Bureau, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Saints Row IV, Killer is Dead and Lost Planet 3 :O

It seems that the only guaranteed bomba relative to budget and publisher expectation is Lost Planet 3.

Completely stacked compared to last year that had Sleeping Dogs, Darksiders 2 and a few others. August sales results will be very interesting.

Also, there's the $200 PS3.

I played around with Minecraft all the way back during the beta or whatever, and I can see the Lego-like appeal of it to an extent, but man.. that game's success never ceases to blow my mind.

And the Wii U situation is neigh incomprehensible.

Also, please make Injustice for PC, Netherealm. :) I'd love to play that even if only for the story mode fan service.

Where did wiki get the source for this then? chartz?

Etrian Odyssey sold 33,216 copies in its first week of release. As of July 2013, the game has sold more than 169,000 in the US and more than 304,000 copies worldwide. This makes it the highest selling Etrian Odyssey title to date.

He's a pretty swell guy in my books anyway.
The fact that we keep getting EO at a steady pace (that's EO, right!?) is weird.

It's probably because it's a dungeon crawler series with consistent sales. If they go in the new direction Etrian Odyssey Untold is taking with the main series that could possibly change.

Saying that Shin Megami Tensei should be on a "powerful" system (I wouldn't consider almost decade old hardware powerful by any means) is like saying Dragon Quest should be.

There is pretty much nothing the series would have gained by being on the PS3 other than graphics (which is also debatable because that would mean that they would have to ditch the sprites and the 3D effect).

Its a dungeon crawling JRPG, the 3DS is pretty much perfect for it.

What's that someone?

Trauma Center: Under the Knife.

I bet that demo turned a lot of people off. I love RPGs and was set to buy it till I played that demo, but the atrocious animu character models did it no favors either.

I remember being appalled with how terrible the graphics were.

Wiiu lower than any month of the horrible selling gamecube until freaking 2007 should tell you what the situation is. I can believe anyone thinks wiiu or vita will recover. Without a pricedrop we could theoretically see a sub 100k November as DK isn't pushing a thing. What a disaster.

So we have accurate numbers for Wii U hardware sales yet?

Around 29k.

Wait, "Gamecube"? "2007"? Those aren't typos? Wow...

edit: Well, hopefully this spurs Nintendo to create fresh, new, awesome software like on the Gamecube seeing that if they want to even get sales to Gamecube levels, that's what it will take, hopefully they'll take the plunge and make new series of games, bring back old neglected series, I can't say I was disappointed with the first party output of the Gamecube.

But to the pin, console optimizations, lack of advertising, etc et al. :p

That's a bold claim but at this point I don't have any reason to doubt it

The crazy things people type when they're upset.

Yeah, im sure someone would have been called crazy if they posted an exact sales future for wiiu last year. I said theoretically meaning i'll wait to see how other games impact wiiu, but if monthly sales are sub 40k going into november it certainly could happen.

I can't believe Nintendo is letting Mario Kart slide to 2014. In the shape Wii U is in, they need all hands on deck to get that game pushed out for the holidays.

That NSMBU is close to selling a million in America is pretty impressive considering Wii U sales are so crummy.

For sure. It'd help a lot more than WWHD and DKC TF.

3DS only 1.5 million behind the DS in the same amount of time seems good to me. People always talk like the 3DS is doing way worse than it really is.

In the US. Worldwide it's 8million units behind the DS. By the end of the fiscal year, it's going to be 16million units behind.
It's selling well, it's just not gonna sell nearly as good as the DS, and we'll see about GBA numbers, which can be achieved.

The Vita sold 200k last November.
