Wow, I never realized just how much of a web was weaved by the American remake of the IT crowd.

The thing that I find so enthralling about this pilot is the interconnectedness of it.
Graham Linehan and Dan Harmon are big fans of eachother. Linehan has even used the story circle to assist his writing.
Graham Linehan was not okay with the remake.
Joel McHale is in the IT Crowd, as well as Community.
Richard Ayaode directed the Dinner with Andre episode, as well as being considered to appear as Moss in Community.
The two people who were brought into remake the IT Crowd for the USA, are none other than David Guarascio and Moses Port, the showrunners who were brought into replace Dan Harmon.
It doesn't mean anything at all. It's just interesting how it all clicks together.

Oh my god. I want an IT Crowd/Community crossover sooooo freaking much. That needs to happen. Moss needs to show up. Somehow. Anyhow. I don't care how.

Those pictures seem promising. Has Harmon spoke much about what he's planning for Season 5? Like, if he's going bigger and better, or stripping it back, or what.

IT Crowd American remake? What the? (Edit: oh, just a pilot and nothing more... Whew)

And yes, would be perfect if Moss shows up as an IT instructor/Cisco trainer. Maybe Chris O'Dowd could peek in.

So does that mean that Jeff would copy O'Dowd for an episode, but not be quite as good.

He says it's going to wow people.

So yes. It's safe to say, along with all the celebrities this season, that Harmon is planning on making this a huge ass season.

I personally think it's his ego trying to make it up to himself for having season 4 exist.

Which I still enjoyed very much.

Very much.

I liked season 4 very much.

And please get Richard on screen this time. Directing a couple episodes wasn't good enough. We need some of that sweet style (And hair) on the Telly screen.

If not this season, then next season. Or in the movie.

From what I understand, the first few episodes will strip it back and then the season builds on to be bigger and crazier
Judging by his comments at comic-con at least

Well, lie detector tests always have the capacity to shake things up in sitcoms.

Also just noticed Annie can drink now, so does that mean she's like 22 or 23 on the show? I know they made a big deal about her not being able to drink in Mixology Certification. Kinda nice how we see the characters growing and aging. :')

1 hour premiere confirmed!

But, is it a 1 hour episode, a 2-part episode or just 2 separate episodes?

I'd love it better if it was one single hour episode so it didn't mean they'd be using up 2 of 13 episodes for one day. At least a single hour episode would mean we'd still have 12 more normal sized ones left.

Anyone remember NBC Supersizing? If only they'd done that with Community. I'm sure Harmon could have filled out an hour episode better than The Office did during season 4.

I dunno why, but I really don't feel it'll be a two part episode.

Yesssssss. I want to feel Dan's salt in plot form. Please be true.

Haha didn't he say that Chevy and he sorted out their differences? He shouldn't betray the four years of work Chevy put into this.

"Four"? I'd say "three point nine", considering he quit before the end of S4 and the writers had to scramble a bit.

Are they really going to go the
Two and a Half Men (killing Charlie Sheen off in between seasons)
route with Pierce?

He had a proper ending with graduating. I don't see a need to kill him off. Just say that he's moved to a tropical island or something. Boom, done.
