DONATION

To donate, go to the Charity Cup page, then click on the orange PayPal button at the top. Donations are in increments of 1000 yen (~12.25 USD). All proceeds from the event, from web donations, on-site donations, tournament entry fees and T-shirt sales, will be given to the Japanese Red Cross Society.

April 8 at 12PM JST (UTC +9, April 7 11PM EDT) TOPANGA will be holding the 2nd TOPANGA Charity Cup at the Plaza Capcom Iruma Store, located in the Saitama Prefecture. This is an Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition Ver.2012 5on5 single-elimination tournament.

Continuing from last year, we will be holding the 2nd TOPANGA Charity Cup. The total sum from the tournament entry fee and funds collected on TOPANGA's web donation page will be sent to the Japanese Red Cross Society. Whether a single person or many, we hope that you participate or watch.

Updated the OP a bit. The event will definitely be streamed on Nico Live, with two streams. There is nothing really solid to confirm that the stream will be on TwitchTV at all, so I removed it from the OP. If you don't have a Nico account, register now, it's much easier to do so than it used to be as now there are actual instructions in English, along with several other languages.

Also added instructions for donation via PayPal.

The online registration page is now final, all the (full) teams that registered online are listed in the OP. I had them all listed already, had to make some corrections to Zangitan's team. Note there are partial teams that are not listed, and there is also on-site registration, so there will be more teams than those currently listed.

They literally are the Top 5 Yang players though. Of course, most of that play was mostly likely from before the Ver.2012 update.

I love seeing how top players like Tokido and Mago have taken on new roles as TO's besides just being top players. It's guys like them that will help keep the interest alive in Japan.
