How do you play Smash or Splatoon with controllers like that?? It still makes zero sense. Something is missing or this rumor is completely wrong.Exactly what I was thinking.

The first one just isn't happening.
But will it have an Ethernet port?
SuperMetalDave is right. This rumor goes against what Nintendo has said. Eurogamer isn't more trustworthy than anybody else.
We're getting a massive, massive upgrade to the best current system on the market, the 3DS, and it will be getting the support of the 3DS plus Wii U.
This system is basically my dream system.
I'm sorry for those of you who are disappointed, but this system is basically perfect for me.
Its weird and unprecedented but we honestly cant rule out the multiple SKU approach just yet can we?
C'mon GameXplain, I need my hour long discussion video!!
Dissaponting thing for me is NX is just another gimmick by Nintendo.
All i wanted was a traditional Gamecube/ N64 console with PS4 graphics.
Tegra chipset decision will hurt the third party development.
And no BC is FUCKING BULLSHIT.

That is, like, not weird at all. It's incredibly smart, actually. That's what so many seem to be missing. It's like they can't wrap their heads around Nintendo being anything other than "the traditional game company that releases a console and a handheld every 4-5 years".
No BC according to the article.
So this is what Nintendo is going to compete with Microsoft and Sony for the next 4/5 years?
A Tegra handheld/home console hybrid?
And Nintendo expects the likes of EA, Take2, Bioware (etc) to port AAA games from Xbone Scorpio/PS4 Neo to a ARM architecture.
Looks like a jack of all trades, master of nothing to me.
What is life? Seriously though things change.
Where is the gimmick or new experience?
Right, there isn't. You have an handheld that you can plug into your tv and play games on tv. Just like ipad or iphone. I believe vita did it too.
Why would we need to believe Nintendo that they don't come with new gimmicks or experience?
How many time did eurogamer hit the jackpot?
C'mon GameXplain, I need my hour long discussion video!!

Please include a locate button that makes the controller attachments emit a loud beep for people like me that will lose them.
SuperMetalDave is right. This rumor goes against what Nintendo has said. Eurogamer isn't more trustworthy than anybody else.
GameXplain has been really lazy lately. Just playing games and no analysis videos. 😡😡😡C'mon GameXplain, I need my hour long discussion video!!
We had a reliable insider state that the CPU was beyond Xbox One.
Either
a) He was lied to.
b) Plans changed
c) There is also a Home SKU
Which is it?
I did it for you quickly
Wuold be the size of a Vita when buttons out, smaller when slided in i guess.
Slided in where? Behind the screen? Then where is the actual board?
So when the two controllers come off the back, one has buttons on the left side that that other has on the right side? Or its two sticks side by side and two sets of buttons? Or...both are mega tiny controllers?
Thank you for the mock-up!
(Sorry about my mix-up, Orioto!)
Actually it should be more like this for comfort both in solo and detached modes.
This way both players could have the rounded edges in their palms when holding them. As well it's a more comfortable position when using it with the screen.
It does need more room on the sides though. Having the thumbstick and buttons perfectly aligned is uncomfortable. The top buttons and thumbstick should be 1/4-1/2 an inch further out.
You need 20 handhelds for 20 people.
playing a game like zelda in a shitty environment like a crowded, smelly, loud bus sounds terrible
i'd rather just, you know, put down the controller, take a break, and come back home after work to play some more on my couch on a big nice tv.
Capacitive multi touch is absolutely essential.
Yes they are. This isn't some random fansite.SuperMetalDave is right. This rumor goes against what Nintendo has said. Eurogamer isn't more trustworthy than anybody else.
I think people should just wait for official announcement for more detailed informations on what would works with upcoming console or not.
I just hope that they are going to add ethernet to the system but I have a doubt that they would.
I'm getting the feeling this isn't real.
They like each other, but not that much!Derek and Ash are the detachable controllers and Andre is the portable device.
Biggest concern for me is battery life. I can't see a 'high powered' device lasting too long on the go.
