We don't usually know what the games will be until Friday really.
We've had leaks in the past - I think Playstation Lifestyle sometimes has a list well in advance. But yeah - normally we have no idea until right before it starts.

Crossing my fingers for some fresh appearances-- flash sales are great, but they usually show a lot of overlap for games that have been on sale before. I have a habit of buying anything I'm slightly interested in that's on sale, and most of this year I've owned most everything showcased.

Also, I'd think the likelihood of a Halloween flash sale is diminished, but there's almost certainly going to be a regular Halloween sale on PSN.

Oh, and trying go match games up with the "survival" theme will drive you crazy-- take a look at past themes, then the games featured, and you'll see it barely relates to half of them.

Knowing how flimsy Sony's justification for some of the games they put in these flash sales can be, I'd wager that any game in which you have a life bar will be eligible. :lol
I'm banking on this one. Based on the past, Sony will probably just consider any game where you can actually die. So maybe Proteus definitely won't be in it lol.

We don't know what the games even are. All that we know is that there will be a flash sale and it starts by Friday or Saturday.

How many games like this in Vita?
There are a handful of indies and RE Rev 2.

What I'm expecting: Danganronpa 1+2 and Virtue's Last Reward.

What we'll get despite all logic: Hyperdimension Neptunia.

what kind of deal do they usually give? Just got a PS4. Bloodborne would be cool...
The discounts range from modest cuts to insane price slashes to 10% off bigger new releases. Most any Sony 1st party won't get anything above 50% off, I imagine, and 30% might even be pushing it.

Many indies (even solid, acclaimed ones) can go up to 90% though, so don't be afraid to fill up your digital library on the cheap even if you don't see the games you really want.

I'm also hoping that survival is used loosely. I really want to buy Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.

Survive? GitGud
-kidding-

Thinking its a stretch to consider Bloodborne a survival horror game-dont you try to survive in most games? RE, Alien Isolation even Until Dawn make more sense than Bloodborne.
While there's no way to tell if Bloodborne will be featured, Sony definitely doesn't try very hard at all to match the theme to the games on sale.

Judging from past flash sales just about every game on PSN could be considered for this.
