I understand from the other thread that those games you listed you already shared from your sister's husband? You can't share that with other people unless you give away his account details to that person. If that's alright with him or I'm understanding wrong then carry on.
Also sharing has quite a few drawbacks if it's just for one game that you could kick yourself for in the long run.

This probably goes without saying, but don't burn up all your sharing credits in case you need to replace your ps3/upgrade to a newer model/send it in for repairs...

I gave it a lot of thought before sharing and even then, I'm only sharing with two people I already know.

Is there any way of getting PSP and PS1 games I got from other people onto my PSP without the bs it's giving me now about not being able to play my games if I do so.

No longer have a PSP but I'm pretty sure you can but you have to do the transfer from the account it was bought from.

I tried that but when I do that it tells me I won't be able to play games transferred from my account.

Just wanted to say, Gummifaust is the most reliable poster, and an extremely sweet guy. :D

I don't speak much with the people whom I've shared my account with and I have some other friends who wants to share instead. Is there a way to deactivate systems without having to contact the people who I've shared with? Can I call Sony or something?

It must to possible somehow, like if a PS3 you had crached beyond repair?

Sony does not support account sharing with (= giving away your login data to) strangers.
I agree.

Maybe if you can lie good enough to the customer support?

So you will need to contact the people you shared with and convince them to deactivate your account on their PS3 so that they can't play the stuff they shared from you...

If you really want a game/addon, why don't you just buy it? (especially if it has a demo)
If it's not because you don't have enough money for all PSN games you like to play, it's kinda illogical/cheap.

i'd buy it but I can't. I'm from the UK and my copy of Burnout is from the US. So no DLC for me unless someone from the US is kind enough to give me it.

I paid for the UK DLC and it doesn't fecking work.

Every thing is shareable on PSN.







As for the 24-hour lockout, it's on Warhawk but not Battlefield 1942 (another online-only game) or Siren (a $45 game also released on disc).

I can understand such cases because you would have to double dip (region locked addons suck anyway, though it's just that "different" region releases get their own serial number and they only look for the "folder" on the PS3 HDD with their serial)

Though games of different regions are not always an "excuse" because you can buy PSN cards of foreign countries (well, the PAL ones come out this month for the first time).

But it was just a general question, not necessarily directed to you ^^
I gameshare a lot myself, but only with my close buddies who most of the time buy stuff of their tastes.
Very often it's stuff I would never buy but to play it like a demo is nice and I can play these games/addons (especially mappacks) online with my friends to have some fun (or I can "force" them to play my games online with me even if they don't like them :lol ).

Though I'm lucky to have one buddy who is "part of the problem" (he bought e.g. Cellfactor and yesterday 2 dynamic themes :lol I can't complain to get stuff like this for free from him, I like the LBP theme :( )

http://www.maximuscards.com is your friend, although it does suck that you bought the DLC and it's region locked (most DLC is, even free ones, although some aren't).

I've only shared with two people, my first sharing experience was OK. But the second time was great. Don't think I'm going to share now though. Besides I've only got one share left and I'm keeping it for myself, in case my PS3 breaks.
