Is Q1 2017 realistic?

Ya, it'll be on youtube probably tomorrow. The gameplay bits will be posted to their Youtube channel as usual right? I can't seem to watch Twitch in html5 for some reason and I refuse to infect my PC with Flash.
No S42 stuff at all? Welp.
No chance. I think there's a chance it'll hit 2018.

Oh well, I can wait. That's the only bit I'm interested in.
lol you all just got screwed.
Can't even show a demo. Or a video. Or give us a date when they could show it. Good luck launching it on 2017.
Obviously it was the time frame they gave, so people being disappointed is understandable. However they were NEVER going to release in 2016.
I'm still very happy to wait. I love that they are doing it right and not pushing.
Surprised the crowd didn't go mad.
They've been following the game too long, 2017 was a given.Surprised the crowd didn't go mad.
I bet that fuckin purchase button for the hot new $750 ship was ready promptly, though.
I've only been reading up on SC for a couple of weeks now, but from what I've seen, I'm surprised anybody thought it would actually come out this year given what we know (or rather, what we don't know).
I'd be full-on surprised if it launches before Fall 2017.

I really hate this shit. Doing things right and doing them promptly are not mutually exclusive fucking concepts.
Hopefully they show some footage after the PowerPoint stuff like they did with gamescon
Of course not. Don't put words in my mouth cobb. I just agree with their approach, slow and steady and making sure it is the best possible end product.
Did I hit a nerve?
Sorry guys, in the middle of Canadian Thanksgiving dinner.
Did they reveal a SQ42 release date?
We're talking about Squadron 42, not Star Citizen.
The biggest updates bump up to the next integer, minor updates are represented by tenths. Lots of tech companies use the same system.3.3, to 4.0
That doesnt make any sense but oh well.

Basically: "We don't have a fucking clue when this will be happening because we have so much other stuff to figure out in the meantime we should just give it an arbritary number."
