Got the Platinum for Jak & Daxter: Precursor Legacy. Painstakingly trying to track down every orb on Jak II now. I went through every level and I've got all the ones you randomly find, now it's just to do the side-missions, races, and minigames, which will be an absolute ballache.

Plat #125: Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition

Good game became gooder game. I got the original game for free on PS+ when it launched, so double dipping with this version was very much worth it. Also have reason to believe that I'm the world first, though I'll wait a few days since you never know if someone's been playing offline.

Wow that was fast lol

Was there any missable trophies/achievements?

After a day of solid playing, i got the Ratchet 1 plat on Vita. Went for the bolt glitch for a fair while but got bored so decided to play the Giant Clank part. Over and over again. For 5 hours. My fingers hurt now.

Still, onto Ratchet 2 tomorrow.

Platinum #15 Sly 2: Band of Thieves

After platting the first two games, I think I'm done with the series. There's something about them that I don't like (I enjoyed the first one much more than the second). Some combination of the controls, camera, mini games, etc are just not fun for me.

Next plat I'm going for is FF14.. Just need to tons of fates and meld 100 materia.

Might pick up Danganronpa too.

Platinum #3: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle

Yeah yeah it's not a hard platinum but I really ended up loving the game.

Haven't posted in forever, but here's what I'm working through at the moment:

*Trying to get the 1000/1000 in Child Of Light. I think I'm a litlte under halfway through the main game.
*Trying to get 1000/1000 on Guacamelee STCE. I'm a little under halfway through my first playthrough (on hard).

Both those games should be simple to complete.

I also am going to get back into Battleblock Theater with Lordji (gaf member). :p

Which LEGO game is less of a chore/easier to play? LEGO Lord of the Rings or Star Wars III.

I did the PS3 and Vita versions of LOTRs. Both were easy and fun to play. They take awhile (like all Lego games) but they are pretty straight forward. I never played the Star Wars one.

Late, but I added you!

It's too late today, but I'll do a terrible job on tomorrow's challenge on purpose so you can beat it easily 30 times over. :)

Edit: D'oh, I probably should have clarified. The trophy doesn't make this obvious, but you can beat the same score I do on a challenge 30 times for the trophy rather than do it 30 times over 30 days.

Anyone know how to get the challenge achievement in Guacamelee on xbone?

http://www.trueachievements.com/Gua...dition-Xbox-One/challenges.htm?gamerid=350350

It's called Juano-A-Mano. The description is Destroy Calaca.

I beat the final boss (Calaca) and did not get the challenge...

edit: I finally managed to get it. Maybe you just have to be normal Juan (without wearing the Diablo suit) to get the challenge achievement. Either way I finished off the game at 1000/1000 + the challenge achievement. Feels good.

Never ended up getting any of the platinums I was aiming for. But I beat inFAMOUS: Second Son the other night so I'm thinking I might just go for that next. All I really have left is the evil playthrough + some miscellaneous trophies, as I did all of the side missions and got the Expert trophy during my first playthrough.

I want to make Spelunker HD my 30th platinum though and I'm currently at #26. So I'm thinking:

#27 - inFAMOUS: Second Son
#28 - Medal of Honor or Bulletstorm
#29 - Minecraft
#30 - Spelunker HD

Also, Inversion has to have some of the worst trophies/achievements ever. You have to complete all of the challenges which are nearly impossible to do without boosting. I don't even know why I'm attempting it.

Which MoH are you doing? The 2010 reboot?

Yeah. I really only need to finish Tier 1 mode, but I don't have the patience for it. Spending 30 minutes on a level just to die near the end or be a few seconds over time is frustrating.

You got the hard ones out already IMO. Fire Controller and Level 15 was a chore.

Platinum #16 Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA f

My nephew is a vocaloid fan and told me about this game. I wasn't sure how much I'd like it because the music/style isn't really my thing, but I do like rhythm games and it had been a long time since I'd played one, so I decided to pick it up.

I really enjoyed this one. Nice gameplay, the music is actually pretty catchy (Weekender Girl was my favorite) and there was some nice challenge at the end. I could have done without some of the friendship level stuff, but I was so close to the platinum that I figured I'd do it anyway.

Danganronpa is sitting in my vita waiting to be played next.

Platinum #51: PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate

The online mode is terrible, while searching for opponents I connected multiple times to the same person and he kept cancelling.

Got 100% on Fez. Doubt that's much of a big thing, but there you go.

So close to the Up Your Arsenal trophy, just have to get the 10,000 bolts trophy, which will be a real ballache.

Will Walking Dead: Season 2 have a Platinum, seeing as it's all split up by episode?

No, I don't think so, because on the trophy list the first episode is the base game (like a regular PSN game) and the other games are DLC packs, that's different from the first season/The Wolf Among Us.

I'd bet on the retail version of the game having a separate trophy list with a platinum though.

I've no idea why they did it that way with Season 2 anyway, given how much better the Season 1/TWAU way was. But at least they haven't gone back to the stupid old separate trophy lists for each episode thing, like the old Telltale games.

I will forever despise having five (or was it four?) different trophy lists for Jurassic Park: The Game stuck to my profile. It looks horrid.

That will probably be the case. Wouldn't be the first time, same thing happened with the retail version of the Back to the Future game.

Yeah so the trophy hunters will double dip.

As for the old Telltale games, seperate lists may be stupid, but they earn you more trophypoints.

TWD S2: base game (285 points) + DLC (750 points) = 1035 trophypoints (in case of 180 points for Episode 5)

TWAU: 1155 points
BttF Blu ray: 1230 points
TWD S1: base game (1230 points) + 400 Days (195 points) = 1425 trophypoints

S&M Beyond Time and Space: 1530 points
BttF PSN: 1545 points
S&M The Devil's Playhouse: 1545 points

So for trophylevel progression seperate lists for each episode would be better.

Platinum #17 Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc

999/VLR was my introduction to the VN scene, and I enjoyed this one a lot as well. The storyline was very interesting, the characters were great, and I thought the gameplay was imaginative. The plat wasn't too bad (school mode wasn't nearly as bad as people made it out to be).

Question About Sound Shapes. Does the Japanese and UK version have a separate list on each console or just one among them all? If I get them both am I looking at 6 new Platinums or two?

You're looking at 4 Platinums:

1 Vita
1 PS3
1 PS4 EU
1 PS4 JP

The PS4 version has seperate lists, the PS3 and Vita version not.

You can bypass doing all of that by doing this.

Start a mission with a timer where you have a certain amount of time to collect an orb.

Right when you get near it and you're about to collect the orb, press start/pause and restart the mission. The mission will restart and if done correctly, you should hear the orb collecting sound.

When you check your total, you should have 3 more than when you started.

That's how I was able to Platinum Jak II and Jak 3 with this.

There's four PS4 lists: NA, EU, JP and Asia. So six total when including the PS3 and Vita versions.

If you're going to get the other three versions, Nintendad, could you count up how much each would cost when including the DLC as well?

I did it. Felt bad about it initially, but fuck those race time trials. Fuck them to hell. They are impossible, particularly on the Vita's analog sticks.

Probably will go legit for Jak 3... maybe.

I already have all the DLC on my US account. so I was thinking of getting the other versions and just syncing my save.

Oh man! Finally got 100% in Sound Shapes. So I think I'll treat myself to the jpn,UK, & Asia versions of Sound Shapes for those three extra Platinums.

Almost done with 1000'ing Guacameele XBO.

Those gold challenges were hell. Just need to do Hard Mode, which I'm about 45% done with now.

Not too hard except for a few areas where they enemy spam you.

First time posting in this thread. I was primarily a 360 player last gen so my Plat count is fairly low.

This week I added Battlefield 4 (#9) and PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate (#10) to my Platinum collection, as well as a 100% completion for Brothers.

Veteran/Hard difficulty in BF4 was super easy, especially compared to the instant death traps of other FPS's at max difficulty.

The most challenging trophy was to personally deliver and detonate five bombs in Obliteration mode. My final strategy was to find games on small maps with only 4-8 other players, which greatly increased my chances of personally grabbing the bomb compared to full servers. The Dragons Teeth maps and Flood Zone/Operation Locker from the base game worked well. It still took a couple days of trying.

Next up for me is Need for Speed Rivals. The grind to Rank 60 for both Cop and Racer careers (which basically involves completing each career path three times, six total) takes about 30 hours total (based on the 15 hours it took me as Racer, still working on Cop), but I love the game and have been using this opportunity to catch up on my podcasts while I drive.
