9.99/10, would have preferred JBL with the sign at the announce table.

I'm actually visiting San Diego from Canada and I logged in just to buy DW7E wanted it for so long and it never had a sale. Now its $10. Fuck yeah

Store won't let me buy the Bioshock 2 Ultimate Edition because I already own the base game with no DLC from PS+ last year.

Is there anyway to force the purchase?

Curious about this as well. Minerva's Den is the only Bioshock story content I've never played, so this was the only tempting thing in the Flash sale for me.

Maybe I'll just grab the M Den DLC by itself. I believe it's $10 and I don't care about any of the multiplayer stuff in the Ultimate Edition.

Otherwise going to hold out hope for $10 Transistor and Wolf Among Us when that PAX sale drops.

I wonder how much Bound By Flame (PS4) will be discounted during the PAX sale. If it's below $30 I might pick it up. $25 or less would be an instabuy.

Got DMC...been playing the original Devil May Cry (which I got from the PSN Anime sale...why it was on the anime sale I'll never know) so, I thought, what the hell, I don't have a particular attachment to the original Dante so might as well give it a try.

And Tales of Grace F. On a scale from 1 to 10, how embarrassing is the game when it comes to other people watching you play it? Any obnoxious character attributes or "humor"?

Actually, they did come out with a DMC anime(which I own). Maybe that is why. I was puzzled as well.

Oft hope is born when all is forlorn.
Damn those prices are tempting. Really interested in owning all GOW again digital, but I have packed up my PS3 and put it away and anything I buy now is going to ve in my backlog because of the busy fall.

I think I am gonna pass this time.

I want RE: Revelations, but I am out of room on my PS3. Tired of deleting stuff and my 320GB is not recognized on my PS3 for some odd reason, so I have to stick with the 160GB one. Is Bound by Flame any good?

For those interested in the Sly Collection on Vita, here are my views on it :).

Well, Sly 1 is the best game from the PS2 games (in my opinon). The first one is esentally Crash Bandicot-esc level designs mixed with very light collecting (the clue bottles + safe) and some stealth moves to pull of. Granted the stealth really isn't that important (as everyone dyes in one hit) but still, it is very fun to use :D. The original is the most Sly-sentric of the original games (with Murry having boring mini games, Sly have one shooting level in....about 2 worlds and Bently having one hacking mini game toward the end of the game) and it is the strongest for that alone. The platforming feels so tight and fun :D. The visuals really shine on Vita too; the cell-shading really helps with native res :). The performance on Vita across all three games is solid too (being a largely stable 30FPS with the games running at native res).

Sly 2 is a good sequel to the original in the since that it takes Sly's gameplay and refines it; the controls for the stealth moves feel more responsive, Sly can now sneak around/pick-pocket foes, and he has a run button now. It makes exploring the now larger hub-worlds a blast to explore :). Bentley and Murry return with completely new gameplay styles and its good; the former handles that hacking stuff while the latter handles the fighting (which is quite fun at times :)). The only issue the second game has is that it can get boring after a while :l. By the time your reach 2/3rds through the game, you may be tired of it. Granted, that was the case for me, but it may happen to you. It is overall a great game and a great foundation that Sly 4 used to make a damn great game :D.

....The less said about Sly 3 the better X(. The game is what would happen if Sonic Team was making a Sly game; playable characters up the wazo, Sly taking a back seat to much weaker gameplay and the game strips away the collecting stuff (clue bottles/treasure) from the hubs. The game still is okay largely due to Sly's gameplay being great still and the visuals looking amazing on Vita....but just skip it man :(.

The Collection as a whole is a great one; you get two great games for (with this sale) 10 bucks.....sounds like a good deal to me :D. I recommend that you just play Sly 4 after you beat the second game if you do get the collection; it is a great game that takes what worked in Sly 1/2 and perfects it :).

Overall, the first two are great games while the third one is.....decent at best :(.

If you decide to wait-out on the retail version of this, you could sell the Sly 3 code (essentially paying for two games rather then three + being able to get money back on the third one), but point still stands :l.

Heh, well thanks for the quick answers. I actually after looking up Sly and hearing people talk about how good it is have decided I'll spend on that for the Vita instead (and I had heard GOW was really bad on the Vita. Framerate doesn't bug me as much, hell, I'm loving Borderlands on Vita. Just thought maybe for 10 bux it might be worth it). Besides, GOW takes up way more space and since memory cards = expensive, that in itself discouraged me (This is why this backfires for Sony to charge so much for them. For one I avoid digital unless it's super cheap and for 2nd it will discourage it even if it is cheap if the game takes up too much space).

Of course, that is if I can ever log in before the sale ends (I can connect to the PS Store to see prices but it won't let me log in and I'm guessing that's cause of the DDOS attack?).

I just bought the Sly Collection...

Ever since I got my 64GB card, I've been utilizing Steam tactics I realize... Buy a bunch of games. Play none of them.

Worked on PS3 and Vita, bought Graces f, and Sly on both PS3 and Vita! :D

Downloading all on PS3, will only take a million years, just in time for dinner!

I wasn't able to log onto the sen store either, but I downloaded the sly collection on Vita. My heart sank when I saw it was 6 gigs. But I was thrilled when I found out I can download each game individually! Honestly all the collections should give this option. I don't need all 3 games on at once, I am only going to play one at a time, then delete it for the next and move on.

God of War: Origins PS3 has the same split option, as does Symphonia Chronicles. Which ones don't?

Picked up Lost Planet 3 on a few GAF recommendations. Too early to make any real judgement, but at the very least it's clear that Spark didn't phone this in - they put in a lot of effort here. Sadly, they definitely did not put enough effort into optimization - the framerate is awful.

I got God of War collection because my PS3 has become my classics machine it seems and my PS2 games are deep in storage. Plus that cross platform compatibility couldn't be passed up.

So are the skits pretty good for Graces f. I'm gonna need something to entertain myself for a while if the story plain sucks. Any of the characters likeable? On the fence on this one.

Can't log in on the webstore or my PS4, I wanted to grab Sly, Tales of Graces, and Revelaitons :/

Unless I ran into a glitch, you can't actually download Tales of Symphonia if you don't also have room for ToS 2. I had ~16GB free, and could not download just Tales of Symphonia (which I think is 5.6GB ish) because I didn't have enough room. Once I freed 4 more GB, I was able to download just Symphonia. The size of the collection is 9.something GB I think, so I still needed double the entire size of the collection to just download the first game.

The mixed reviews on GoW and Sly Vita are making me hold off. I still have to get Disgaea 4, Child of Light and Neptunia Rebirth so i'm just going to hold off and hope those two hit PS Plus. See Vita owners can be choosy.

Writing is down with the dregs of the series like Symphonia (well, maybe not THAT bad) but it is the best playing Tales game and no one without a condition of some sort plays a Tales game for writing so I'd say it's worthy.

I'm probably one of the only one's who used this to pick up Starhawk. Big Warhawk fan here who was extremely disappointed with the Starhawk beta, but after giving some honest time to the game I actually quite like it. The world designs are really cool and the gameplay is a nice controlled level of chaotic. The big problem from beta that still carries over is the building limit, only 32 structures which is hardly enough to full the maps. Definitely seems like a game that could of really benefited by waiting for the next gen, but that was a few years ago. And sadly it there is no chance for any similar project in the future. A shame, why must people always flock to the latest FPS and never the total warfare (infantry, vehicles, aircrafts) third person shooters?
