I got conceited, I thought the Titan levels were within the realms of doable, where it was only a matter of time then I finally started on Titan 5, jaysus.

I'm on Titan 3 . How do I finish the super long-ass grind on the top path? I don't nearly have enough momentum.....

Grind switching on vita works like 10% of the time for me. So frustrating

You know you can only do a grind switch on a perfect grind, right?

Also, hold the stick and X to switch.

For example:

Land perfect grind holding up on LS
Move LS down and press X at the same time to switch to different grind.
Hold LS down until end of grind.

Titan 4 is way harder than Titan 5.

Just went through Titan 5 and I think the exact opposite, once you get out of the long grind part in Titan 4 you're home free, Titan 5 you're constantly concious of which grind to avoid all the way through.

Plus that 30 spins challenge yeesh.

You don't even need to do that. How I do it:
Land perfect grind, say, holding left.
Rotate joystick to face right (so counter-clockwise half-circle).
Then press X whenever the fuck I feel like it (but before the grind ends).
Boom, grind switch.

You can probably do the same without the joystick movement if you just go from no trigger held to holding a trigger. So land, hold trigger, press X. Maybe.

So,i finished it yesterday, and had an great time with it. The Titan levels were freaking hard, almost broke the controller, but in the end i loved it,thinking of picking the first game when it gets cheaper. The only thing i had more difficulty was linking movements when i was doing a manual or grinding, there were a lot of challenges that were about doing an movement after grinding and i couldn't do any of them, because i didn't understand how it worked.

F*cking finally

Holy shit, I feel like an ass. I solved all my problems in titan sky 4 by just playing on my Vita. I can combo the entire level literally every time now. My TV on my ps4 has some serious input lag and I was actually physically incapable of being quick enough. No wonder I couldn't believe it was so difficult. Took me a while to readjust to the vita, everything I was landing was sick hahs

Edit: fuck you revert manual challenge, vita is killing it!

Edit2: wooooooo titan sky 4 done rest of the amateur challenges should be cake comparatively

Woof going from the vita to the ps4 is nearly impossible for me. The response on the vita is so pinpoint that playing it on the ps4 is terrible for me.

This might be the best sequel ever. Loved the first one but never finished it. Sat down to play this one "just to give it a go" at 2am and suddenly I look up and it's 4am. And my hands (and Vita) are in pain.

I would bring my right hand over and pretend to use it the joystick as a pen just to get it

It's pretty simple once you get the hang of it.

Hold L1, then start the left stick to the left <-, roll it down and around 180 degrees to the right -> then quickly back down and around another 180 back to the left <-

Works for me about 4 times out of 5, just gotta make sure you do it quick enough

i figured it out, thanks. my problem was that i wasn't releasing the stick. i kept following through.

This game is sick. I was having such an annoying time trying to perfectly complete the first level.

All of a sudden the track changes and I get in THE ZONE. Perfectly completed it the first time I was listening to that track. It was fantastic.

edit: also how did the guy get such an insane score for the daily? Its only one jump, how can he get 600k points?

Congrats man. Just got my plat a few hours ago. Least favorite RAD level?

Hmm it was one of the levels in the carnival I forget which one, took me awhile to beat. Couple of those titan sky levels were pretty rough too. Overall though I'd say RAD mode wasn't that hard compared to finishing all the challenges.

I'm stuck on Titan 4 and having a harder time after the tunnel. That section of rising and falling stairs is killing me. The jumps are too quick for me. I can do the first part of the stage without problem.

There is so much going on visually in the Carnival of the Dead that I'm not sure if I like it, which bums me out because I was really looking forward to grinding on roller coasters. I'll see if my eyes can adjust.

So, does Sony replace broken analog sticks? :p my controllers has been fine for 8 months, but after three hours of this madness of a game there was rubber all over my living room!

Sadface.

All of this talk of worn sticks made me resolve to play this on the Vita. My hands are in for some punishment it seems!

I had difficulty processing the difference between the neon blue ground and neon pink grinds when the action was fast.

Playing this game for a couple of days now, and only now I figured out you can skip/change music with the right stick.

I am an idiot.

See the last page with my posts and discussions with renpatsu. I had the same issue. What it ended up being was that my TV had serious input lag that was affecting my play. I switched to Vita last night and I can combo through that section with ease every time now.

On top of input lag I think the Vita sticks are also quicker to execute tricks, this sticks don't have to move as far. Sounds trivial but every split second matters.

Cleared Titan 1 and 4 amateur challenges. Have the score/combo challenges on 2 and 3 and then all the challenges left on 5. I'm determined to do this but not sure I'll attempt Pro Challenges, just beat the levels.
