I saw in the newest r.mika footage that when Mike Ross alpha countered with nacalli his stun gauge actually went down. Don't know if it's in the beta build. But that adds a whole lot to the use of them.

Oh right, I forgot the Murakumos and Izayoi were time locked. Probably because it still doesn't make sense to me why you'd time lock returning characters :T

I don't know that I agree with this. Plenty of people think Nash is strong, no? Ryu is.. It's hard to tell. I think he's good but demands good fundamentals.

I keep seeing people say this but I don't know why. What does donkey kick add as a move?
I've never understood it. Is it just something to spice him up?

The only argument I could see for his donkey kick is that it hits crouching so it's better for punishes at certain ranges but that doesn't matter anymore becuase his mk tatsu now does the same.

People think Nash is strong, but he's stronger than that, even, IMO. I think he's actually the best character in the beta, and not because of the V-Trigger (which is overrated). Maybe it's just because I play Bison, though. /shrug

I think Birdie is overrated because you can react to his jumping command grab once you get used to it, and his normals are all really bad. He doesn't have a strong neutral. I don't think he's bad, but cries for a nerf are hard to embrace. His CA damage could probably be toned down just because 75% damage is ridiculous, but that's it. He's fine otherwise.

I paid attention to when combofiend picked her on 1P side on the gamespot stream, they don't much at all under "normal" physics.

Now I'm kind of sad that it's just a glitch
