As a standalone title Modern Warfare Remastered would be competition that has the potential to shave a few years off of the life of the franchise. As a package deal it'll help Infinite Warfare be the best selling Call of Duty in years.

CoD 4 was the last CoD i enjoyed, it was a complete evolution of the gameplay, nothing in the CoD series has made such a leap since imho.

Well, at least the maps announced so far are good and not imbalanced / spawntrapping shit like bog, countdown etc. Hope overgrown, downpour, pipeline, strike, district etc make it into the final ten. Also, no chance in hell anything from the variety map pack like Chinatown will be in the first 10, so quit dreaming everyone lol

The new game is gonna make $500M in a week or less. CoD4 or no CoD4.

This is just to get a few more sales out of it than they otherwise would have (which is still a shitload) then to release it separately.

Actually, they are not. Sales are going up after the dip that series got with Ghosts.
