HAHA so much for Vince not wanting Titanfall 2 to be a part of EA Access:

https://www.titanfall.com/en_us/news...iplayer-trial/

Titanfall 2 will host a free trial of the game's full multiplayer offering. The trial* will begin for EA Access and Origin Access members on November 30th, and become available for all players starting December 2nd on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Origin for PC. This will feature a full offering including all maps, modes, weapons and more including brand new content from Angel City’s Most Wanted DLC on December 3rd.

Hopefully this is them laying the groundwork for the game to get the normal EA Access trial.

I paid $30 for it on the PS4 and I'm about halfway through it - cheap bitches and the world of poors really need to give the game a chance. It has a really, really damned good single player campaign thus far. On the PS4 Pro at 1440p, checkerboarded up to 4K and with a rock solid 60fps on the Pro - it looks phenomenal, too. I only wish they would HDR as well.

On the HDR front, I did play through and finally complete Gears 4. I had a blast with it. It doesn't really do much of anything new outside of integrating some of the tower defense/horde mode into the single player set pieces but what's there is well done. The HDR in the game really makes for some beautiful lighting and well executed contrast in some of the more dark environments. The set pieces that are in the game are some of the best in the series, too. It's just unfortunate that
the swarm is nothing more than literally a re-purposed version of the Locust.
I was hoping for a bit more fresh of a direction in that regard. It's a nice rebound for the series after Judgment.

So after the Eagles made it a 7 point game in the 3rd quarter last night the Eagles ran the ball 2 more times. After Wentz's pick the game was still only 7 points and they never ran the ball again. Overall 14 rushes and 37 passes, even though Smallwood was averaging 4.1 ypc. I am so ready to be done with Andy ball for-fucking-ever. I really cant believe that Lurie went through this once before and was willing to do it again.

This season is not about winning. It's about evaluating our roster and seeing Who is here for the long haul.

I don't care that we went with Wentz more. He needs all the reps he can get considering how little experience he has.

When you are evaluating a coach, that doesn't matter. He should be putting the team in the best situation to win regardless of whether or not this is a developmental year. Plus having Wentz drop back 35+ times is going to lead to him developing bad habits. You want balance regardless.

He's a rookie as well. Let him tinker with whatever he wants and try new things.

With 3 former QBs on the staff, I'm sure Wentz will be fine.

I have to agree with YH here. I get that he comes from the Reid school of philosophy, but early in the year Doug was more balanced, whereas he's regressed recently. I understand that our OL is in tatters with 2nd and 3rd stringers all over it, but the Eagles were running the ball well against the Packers before they stopped. Yeah, there were a lot of runs that only went for 1-2 yards, but there were also plenty that were going for 5+. It was working, it opened up the offense, and it was keeping drives alive. More importantly, it was giving the defense rest, and most importantly, it was taking pressure off Wentz. Wentz' biggest issues recently I think have stemmed from him trying to do too much. He knows the offense is bad, and he's trying to hit home runs all the time to compensate. By doing more runs it doesn't force him to do it all and settle.

As a side note, the bubble screens have to stop. They can work, as Rodgers demonstrated all night last night. But Wentz isn't very good at them. He's slow to get the ball out and isn't always accurate, so it just keeps getting blown up. I get why they like it, but they need to shelve it until he gets better with the mechanics. On the other hand, HB screens and TE screens have been working well. Hopefully they start utilizing them more.

Hit em with the full force.
🤔

It especially baffles me now when half of passing plays seem to net about what a run would have anyway.

Yeah the Eagles throw behind the line a ton and they never get anything like Hindl said for what ever reason Wentz always seems slow on those plays and DGB refuses the block anyone. There was a TE screen to Burton who was lined up wide last night, where there was only one defender over there and DGB totally whiffed on the block and Burton got tackled for no gain.
