Just catched up on all the episodes... yep, this is 24 as fuck :D

The blue clock doesn't bother me but the new font is a bit weird

No reviews or op didn't bother posting them?
My bad, honestly I completely forgot since I didn't read a single review lol, I just added a few ones to the OP if anyone still cares

Best scene from last night.

It's so fucking comical how to waddles down the stairs and how his arm just migrates.

So i'm just starting episode 2. this is so disappointing so far. TV has spoiled me since 24 has been gone

jesus the details in this are really bothering me.

the biggest one in the first episode when the machine guns going off 3 people dead, and when eric and wife escape outside there is a family walking their dog and still kids playing on their bikes across the street. LOL

and fucking LOL you need money so you break into a police station's evidence room. Stupidest idea ever.

I like it much better than Blindspot or The Blacklist, tough to follow up a groundbreaking series with pretty much all new people. I like the cast and the story so far, after seeing the preview I thought it would be a disaster but it is surprisingly good.

So I finally got around to watching the 24: The Raid short on the Oculus Gear VR. Nothing too Earth shattering, but there are some questions. I'll spoiler tag in case things come into play for the main season.

The events happen between 2:54 AM and 3:00 AM. Ben and Eric quickly discuss the mission. Ben asks why they don't just carpet bomb the area, and Eric explains they're not 100% that Bin-Khaled is at the compound. Ben gripes about how they only know what they are told, and Rebecca (over video communication) asks if there's a problem. Eric says no.

They enter the compound and things are quiet enough. Eric has his team covering the outside while Ben and his team move in to find Bin-Khaled. After a breach, hostiles begin a shootout with Eric's team. Ben has a possible ID on Bin-Khalid (Rebecca back at base gets a positive match from the body cams) and rushes ahead to capture him without waiting for Eric's team. After the lengthy firefight, Eric's team makes it inside, but for some reason body cams go offline. After some radio chatter, the room is blown and Ben-Khalid is presumed KIA, though the only thing left in the room is blown up body parts. Eric takes a DNA sample from a blown off foot, and the rest of the team grabs whatever they can (I presume this is when Ben grabs the lockbox, but the video doesn't linger on the grab so I'm not certain).

Outside, the helicopter is waiting for the team, but the locals are starting to get riled up. When the team makes it back to the LZ, an RPG is fired, going straight through the open doors of the chopper and exploding beside them. They take off and the video ends with the countdown timer.

So yeah, they left some things open for possible twists, but otherwise the vid was straightforward. The VR made it fairly immersive, though the video had to buffer a few times which bummed me out.

I would assume (based on the VR thing)
there's a very high chance that Bin-Khalid is not actually dead, to give Not-Bauer the opportunity, in a mid-season twist, to throw both him and his son out of a window or something equally dramatic.

Lashley

Why does he wear the mask!?
Just watched episode 1. That was fucking fantastic.

I'll miss Bauer but I like Carter already. That construction yard scene with the massive pipe was amazing!

So, I've been a big fan of 24 since the very first episode and never missed it on tv, didn't even dvr it..always watched it as soon as it was on. I decided that I was done with it and was going to skip this season since it doesn't have Jack Bauer or the old cast and Jack Bauer is 24... I got really bored tonight and decided screw it and watched the 3 current episodes, its amazing how 24 this feels even without Jack, I don't hate the main character like I thought I would but I really hate the side story so far with his wife =\
