curious about reviews... this is a metroidvania right ?
Seems like the Switch version wont be coming till later rather than around midnight AEST (which is when PSN unlocked) tonight like I was hoping, bummer. Was really itching to play it tonight
Guess i'll keep checking the eShop, launch trailer says a few hours so hopefully it'll pop up before I head to bed. Love the trailer
it's up on JP eshop, anyone know if this contains English language as well?
This thread says English is supported.it's up on JP eshop, anyone know if this contains English language as well?
There's also a comment from Lizardcube saying it might unlock when it hits 00:00 hours in each region. Maybe they're not too sure what time it unlocks in certain regions/on certain platforms.According to a comment from DotEmu in the reveal trailer, it will still be releasing tomorrow on Switch(for the US at least). There was some confusion because their description says it'll be arriving "in a few hours" and the PS4 version seems to be unlocking early(?).
Wow that's amazing. Hopefully it stays that way.For those wondering on Switch JPN version..
Nintendo has seemingly moved to universal SKUs for eShop. If it's easy enough for you to load yen on the JPN eshop, when you buy a game there and check the US eShop, the game will show up purchased.
So if you REALLY need to play it now, and can get yen loaded for exchange rate value.. you're 100% safe. I haven't found a game yet where there are effectively two different game IDs between the two stores. Even Disgaea 5 is 100% playable now.
The first real test will be DQW1&2. Currently out on JPN, but only Japanese language. Will see when it gets released in the US if it ends up showing Purchased on the JPN eShop (and if that version gets updated with English language)
Awesome OT.
So guys, PS4 or Switch ?
Devs claim there is no difference between versions. Is this going to be 60 FPS on Switch the way it will be on PC (and seemingly other consoles)?

FAQ
Price?
$19.99
19.99
¥2200
And equivalent price depending on your region/platform.
Performances?
The game runs identical and at 60 FPS on all platforms.
Regions? The game should be available in most regions of the world:
Americas: Switch, PS4, Xbox One.
Europe: Switch, PS4, Xbox One.
Japan: Switch, PS4.
Australia, New Zealand: Switch and PS4 only. Xbox One version will arrive later.
Asia (other than Japan): we are working on bringing the game to you, please hold on for a while.
Switch users: it is really easy to access eShop from other countries on any Switch. Look it up if you dont find the game in your local eShop
Languages? The game supports the following languages, regardless of which region you downloaded it from:
English
Japanese
French
Italian
Spanish
German
Brazilian Portuguese
Package size?
The game is about 900 MB (some variation depending on the platform).
Windows/Mac/Linux version?
We are working on a computer version and they should arrive later. We hope to have the Windows version available in June, but please dont quote us on that yet You can already check the Steam Page and wishlist the game on Steam to receive news when we have them.
Physical release?
The game is a digital download only. We are investigating the possibility of doing a physical release later, however if it happens it probably wouldnt be for all platforms/regions and may be in limited quantities. We are looking into it, please bear we us that physical goods may not be at our reach and few studios at this point know how to manufacture e.g. Switch games. So it might or might not happen.
Turma da Mônica?
Our Brazilian friends are often asking about incorporating their famous Turma da Mônica comic character into the game, as she was incorported into the 1993 TecToy release of Turma da Mônica em: O Resgate for the Master System. Unfortunately that would require obtaining a license from both Mauricio de Sousa Produções and TecToy, and our project is already such an imbroglio of licensing that it would be too complex for us to do it in time. However we cant stop modders from trying to do it.
It's a metroidvania roguelike, if that makes sense.
Is this coming tomorrow for Switch?
How is it a roguelike?
All that happens when you die is that you get kicked back to the "hub" world. You still keep all of your stuff (even gold).
Here you go.
OP, there may be information in the following that is useful to add.
hopefully in the US. It is already up on the JPN eShop (and can be bought from there if you want). The coming soon section says tomorrow, so I am guessing it will be up whenever eShop updates with it.
Trying to buy the game from the Japanese eshop but it doesn't accept my European visa :-(. Any advice?
Broforce on PS4 shows how we can't underestimate something getting fucked.Wut?
The Switch can't handle a 2D game now? Lel
Yeah it's super easy to buy them too. I don't even have to enter my details anymore after setting it up.try buying a digital card on amazon.co.jp. seems to have much better luck than funding directly on eShop
It's $26 which is cheaper than the PSN version. Pretty decent pricewise i'd say. Will grab on Switch, hopefully cheapish on AU Store.

There's also http://jp-ecards.ocnk.net/So how do I get a digital Japanese Yen card for the eShop as an American? Amazon.co.jp is impossible to read (and do I need to create a different Amazon account for Japan?
Can I just use a credit card on the japanese eshop?
[edit] Post above me wasn't there a moment ago. Will read that reddit tutorial first....) Thanks!
Is there also french language in the Japanese version?
