Don't get me wrong there are a lot of moments i like in the final arc
Hinata slapping naruto in the face for one
but kishimoto really should've broken it up into multiple smaller arcs instead of making it into this one big arc, also
The Itachi Sauske parting scene wouldve been really touching had Kishimoto not botched Sasuke's character so hard beforehand.

Now what's the next step in your master plan?
If anyone wants HxH the game just play Phantom Dust for the Xbox or the remaster when it comes out in the near future. The setting isn't very similar but you play a psychic powered amnesiac in a post apocalyptic setting. Your character starts simple and begins to acquire abilities as they play through the game to build a deck of powers with different categories and several variations of each power in a category and even different levels of strength for certain abilities. All these powers are handled like a deck of cards and randomly generated on the battlefield for you to pick up. You could start with a powered up jump, then learn the ability to hover for a little while and then eventually get outright flight power.

You could build some incredibly specific character builds and a lot of the powers weren't just sword this or laser that, though there is a lot of that, but you could get powers that let you do things like reset the gravity of a battlefield similar in idea to Gravity Rush and shift it so up is down and down is up and people actually fall to their deaths in the sky. There were some really creative and expansive powers that could be combined with others to do some really cool stuff.

Hell the kicker is that all these special powered people drew on an inner power that is called... you guessed it aura. You have to gather aura points and then decide where to use them and there were several abilities for boosting your aura points in a variety of ways.

Anyways just play Phantom Dust, its awesome and the remaster is coming out soon.

He has one good fight scene in it. It's one of my favorites, but that it. Nothing in that arc is referenced again it seems like.

It is in the GOAT Naruto show, Rock Lee and His Ninja Pals.

But yes, When Naruto's arc goes from hardworking loser to boy of prophecy the other hardworking loser falls by the wayside.

Characters who aren't shafted.

Naruto
Sasuke
Pervy Sage
Kakashi
Killer Bee

That's...pretty much it. Part 2 does no favors to anyone.

It's a physical application of chakra, he can probably manage to do it just fine.

Add Shikamaru to the list. He does fine for himself and has major appearances throughout both parts.

That list is so poor I almost feel willing to add Sakura to this list. She might be a miserable person in Part 2 but compared to everyone else at least she gets a part to play.

She's copy pasta Tsunade...

Tsunade got more pathos and responsibilities. Remember that everyone Tsunade ever loves or cares for, outside of Naruto, dies horribly.

We're getting to the only really interesting bit of Sakura's character in part 2. She does do some cool stuff near the finale. Tsunade is if I remember correctly almost devoid of cool ninja shit, though some of her politicking at the end is pretty neato.

And she still gets off paneled.

Gives all the fucks
Nick had Digimon Fusion at one point?? Seems to still be on Nicktoons, so I guess that....kind of counts???

Also, let us never forget the time they tried to capitalize on the anime/Japan culture cash train with.....*SIGH*....Kappa Mikey.

edit: omg Nicktoons had Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V at one point....& Zexal.....& the original Yu-Gi-Oh...

The Mysterious City of Gold.

..........no, seriously, Studio Pierrot worked on that & it aired first in Japan before everywhere else.

Edit: They also had Speed Racer X, a remake of the original anime.

I don't think you could pull off a Hunter x Hunter video game without simplifying nen. It'd have to be tabletop.

...I didn't expect Man God to pick the Vegeta avatar, woo.

Bane? Get them on board, I'll call it in.
It was actually a pretty fun watch but like GBF the dub was hoooooooooorrible.

At least GBF has hope of getting an official US dub. Cross Wars is doomed to obscurity.

Xros Wars fucked itself with its third season. That fanservice ending bringing back all the previous main characters didn't help when they were only there to prop up the Gary Stu protagonist.

Here's a surprise, that's Ben Diskin as Shoutmon. Same voice as Joseph Joestar. Shows what good writing and direction can do (something Saban didn't want in the Xros Wars dub)

I have no idea if we'll even get Applimon.

Third season of Xros wars never existed.

I think they got ahead of themselves with the anniversary coming up and wanted to do something bigger but didn't have the budget for it. Then they had Tri and that was a disappointment as well (from what I hear).

It is painful being a digimon fan sometimes. The gaps in quality are large.
