Despacito ties Boyz II Men's (and Mariah's) record for longest No. 1 on Billboard 100

Whenever a game uses "middleware," I expect mediocrity. Just see how poor TLOU looks.
Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee, and Justin Bieber have tied the record 2 decades after it was first set with their smash single (highest viewed song on YouTube too, wow). 16 weeks @ No. 1.

The song of the year — better yet, the song of the decade — has been setting records essentially since it came out, and this one is particularly historic: “Despacito” ties Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men’s “One Sweet Day,” which also spent 16 weeks at No. 1 from 1995 to 1996.

The question remains, will they beat the record next week? Or is the power of Taylor's new song/video too strong?

We'll see

My Humps 2017 will win out, it's already pummeling Swish and that video came out 3 days ago compared to last night

With the highest first day views (not including trailers) in YouTube history, I think it is fairly safe to say that Swift's new song will go #1 and end their reign. Which is a shame because I wanted Despacito to overtake Mariah but I like Look What You Made Me Do more so.

dear non-hispanic world, you've been trolled sooo hard with that song.

it's nice and catchy but there are dozens upon dozens of songs like despacito in each spanish speaking country.

Yeah I feel like you perfectly captured my "I feel like I'm taking crazy pills" moment with this song. The first time I heard it I was like, wait.. is that the song everyone's going crazy for? What? I don't get it.

I'm so sick of this song. It's been on the radio nonstop since January. Better this than Shakira's new songs.

I hope Tay Tay's new single keeps it from obtaining that record. Will put her new single on repeat if it helps.

It definitely does help, unless if somehow Despacito climbs back up to the top a few weeks down the line, the record is not broken for now but only tied.

I love the song, can't lie. Nothing but good vibes every time it pops up. I prefer the original without Bieber though.

A company being excited for their new game is a huge slap in the face to all the fans that liked their old games.
I love how some people get all frothy at the mouth with hate every time this song gets brought up.

Daddy Yankee apparently doesn't age, as he looks just like he used back when reggaeton blew up.

Luis Fonsi is a hot dude.

And Bieber is Bieber.

The video is saturated with all that vintage Caribbean chic shit that's big right now, with a bunch hot women shaking their asses.

Hate all you want but, it's got every checkmark for hit summer song.
