2012 NBA Apr |OT| Presented By Unicef and Feed The Children, Fuk Yo Hunger Clown.

MKG could fall to 4th if Beal and Robinson measure taller than people think they are and I think they will. I don't think it would be that hugely difficult to trade from 8 to 4 and I think either Beal or MKG is likely to be at 4th on draft night. Both guys are good, both would be great for the Jazz if they could get them.

I can't think of one team likely to be drafting in the top three that would take Beal or Robinson over MKG at #2 though. Maybe he slips to #3 but I can't see it with the teams likely going 1/2 (CHA/WAS).

I do agree about 4-10 being a very similar and movement in that range would be easy to do.

lol david thorpe

However, that does not mean Charlotte is completely devoid of talent. There are good, young players who still need strong rotation minutes to reach their potential. D.J. Augustin, Bismack Biyombo, B.J. Mullens, and Kemba Walker all have bright futures in the NBA.

...

Perfect fit: Thomas Robinson is another matter. I see him as a perfect choice in Charlotte, just as Al Horford was in Atlanta a few years ago.

lol chad ford

Augustin and Biyombo... yes...

Mullens, lol.

Walker could turn out to be solid, but he doesn't look to hot right now. I thought he had better handles from what I seen from him in College.

He also left of Gerald Henderson... He can be a solid rotation player.

Dy, why are you so low on Kemba? I think next year will be more telling than this year, as with all rookies.

Just got home from watching Think Like A Man.....movie aint that bad yall....I mean it could be the biggest pile of horseshit and I would still watch it for Meagan Goode....

DJ is 90% gone as fuck btw.
check edit: was thorpe not ford.

Never thought of Mullens having a bright future.
Mullens is fine. He's a lot more athletic than people give him credit for and he's really young... great mid-range game, can take some bigs off the dribble, decent inside touch, active on the offensive glass. He just plays the worst interior defense I've ever seen and somehow occupies zero space in the paint.

Because Kemba has more mental issues than any other point guard in the league. More than Westbrook. I'd rather have a guy assert himself and be wrong as hell 9 times out of 10 than a guy who is paralyzed by the fear of making a mistake. He's got all the ability and talent he needs to be successful at the NBA level, he's just a pussy - and the only person that can fix that is the man in the mirror.

Replace Henderson with Kemba and he's right.

Outside of those guys, no one else deserves to be on a roster anywhere.

edit: my body isn't ready for trob. but all of my rage is.

DY with Anthony Davis on the Cats would be glorious. It would energize and give him so much ugly material.

Would serve him right for calling out Klay "Easter Island" Thompson all season.

DJ has looked like shit for the last half of the season. I think he is just mentally checked out though, actually, I know this.

Mullens is an enigma. I can see him averaging 10/7 or something like 4/2. His silky smooth 18 footer is cool, though.

Kemba can't be THAT broken, is Silas giving him the Larry Brown treatment? Kemba isn't a point guard though... He's a lot like Westbrook where he isn't a traditional PG and needs to dominate the ball to score.

The thing is, Kemba is getting the exact opposite of the LB treatment. Silas loves him. And I WISH Kemba had Westbrook's fuckit mentality. At least you can adjust for that...

Kemba though... he's played maybe 3 games where he didn't have a stick completely squared up his ass. And in those games, he looked great. In just about every other game he fails at some of the most basic concepts of basketball like "make the defender guard you" and "moving from point A to point B =/= running the play".

I'd honestly rather have Jimmer at this point. Kemba isn't unsalvageable, but his issues are a kind that you don't fix with coaching. Those types of issues can only be fixed by getting slapped in the mouth or having a long night of heavy drinking. He's a waste of everyone's time and energy until he gets his head out of his ass - which may be never.

Mullens has a lot of talent but he has no idea how to use it to help his team win basketball games and I don't know if he can be fixed at this point.

He's still young... but I definitely agree. He doesn't understand anything team-based. He's most likely a young Blatche in the making.

As long as he's not gone for the year, I think Metta's suspension could be a blessing in disguise. Regardless of his recent play, I've always felt that Metta doesn't fit in the starting lineup because he needs the ball and is a shaky shooter. Also, unless we're playing Miami or Boston, quick feet are more important than strength defensively (Didn't you see Durant just blowing by him off screens yesterday?)

Ebanks knows his role and will just hustle and run the floor. With the big 3 and Ramon, we have too many guys who fancy themselves as scorers starting anyways.

If he's only gone a few games, Metta would come off the bench the rest of the way assuming we advance. It's something Mike Brown should have done a long time ago IMO. Ebanks plays well with the starters and Ron can get better offensive opportunities off the bench.

Where'd Barnes go?

I agree with the sentiment.

If YNB can become a competent basketball player they'll repeat chip.

Well, we'll disagree about Westbrook, but a lot of it is on Scotty Brooks. This team is so isolation heavy. Is so bad at moving the ball around, making easy plays, getting easy buckets. That so rarely happens. We'll see things made off of people jumping on YNB and Durant but rarely is it the intent of a Thunder offensive possession to get an easy bucket.

The way the team played against Miami, Perk dropping 16pts, they insta-chip if they move the ball around that much. It's done. It's over. But rarely are they getting easy buckets. And Brooks and other people don't give a crap because YNB and Durant make a lot of jump shots.
That Laker game just goes to show how bad their offense is when Durant and KD iso's aren't working.

And when ref's aren't blowing the whistle every other second

I don't disagree, scott brooks is a terrible coach, when YNB went on the rants that got him his name, brooks agreed he should chuck more, true story. But their offense flows much better when maynor or harden handle the ball for a reason.

I still can't believe than MWP elbow. That shit could have been much worse for Harden.

Will be interesting to see where Stern goes with the suspension tomorrow. I wonder if the NBPA has any say in how severe the suspension can be...

I think the PA might happen to have some bigger issues to worry about then Ron getting a suspension he clearly deserves.

Knicks are entering beast mode. If they can get Chi or Boston in the first round, I think they have a real shot at the Heat after winning a few series'.

Shump is godly. Between him, Mello, Fields, JR, Walker and Novak they've got one of the deepest SG/SF depth charts in the NBA

Being a Knicks fan is hard, but I kinda believe ths year.... Next year i'ts really on.
