I always intended that "Ground Zeroes" was the name of *that* teaser for MGSV, and the fact that this surfaced as "Phantom Pain" pushes me further in that direction. I wonder if next one (when could it be? Is there anything earlier than E3?) will have another subtitle.
About prosthetic arm guy: any crazy theory on him being Liquid/GrayFox/Ocelot? I know some of those wouldn't match (left/right arm), but hey, this is Kojima
Liquid is blonde. Grayfox doesn't have that facial structure. Ocelot doesn't have that type of hair.

i insist, grey fox is the one helping him
as for left/right arm (and eyepatch) the whole xof fox might mean you have to mirror the trailer, although not literally.
But i think we're reading too much into this.
Is MGS: Twin Snakes the only remake that this series has received?

it definately is a distorted map of Norway and Sweden.. it´s just crazy that Kojima & Co. goes through all the trouble doing stuff like this.. it just confirms this is not a Swedish company.. no swedish company would use a map of Norway and Sweden as a Logo, they would only use Sweden.

That's what I'm saying. I think this game is definitely made by Kojima, but I don't think it's MGS V.
I think it's a different game still made by Kojima, dealing with some supernatural/horror shit lol.

Here's a wild speculation. That's Decoy Octopus and not Gray Fox. He disguises as Big Boss when he gets "captured" in one of the scenes in the trailer. Decoy Octopus also went through face reconstruction.
The whole game you play as Decoy Octopus, who rescues Big Boss. Later, he appears as Big Boss when infiltrating the base.

The portion of Scandinavia distorted into a whale tail looks spot on to me, but I'm not going to go near looking for faces in pictures, that is truly the path to madness.

That trailer looked absolutely amazing. I havent seen anything like that in gaming. Metal Gear is one of the few reasons I still play videogames. From the mysteries of these new teasers, to the seriousness of the tone, this whole project could not be any more awesome. Exciting stuff.

ZANZIBAR LAND. That is all. Who and how Kojima brings in the characters is beyond me because he is a beautiful loon, but this game will be MG1 to MG2 timeline and explain Big Boss finally creating/fleshing out Outer Heaven, and then Snake taking him down, both Snakes, 1 game, and this time both playable for both games, * poop sounds *.

Oddly, Moby Dick was a Sperm whale but the tail on their company logo appears to be from a Humpback as does the whale in the trailer.
Could be a rabbit hole, could be that they're using FTP to upload to the servers for the site.
I'd guess it's behind the curtain.
