I really have no clue why people were saying Pearls looked the same. She looks noticeably older (as she should) - her proportions are basically identical to Maya in the original trilogy, now.

And Klavier's return is just as magnificent (well, okay, not just). I can only hope he brought a new, fancier version of Guilty Love with him.

Probably Pearl is only there to give us the Magatama back, but maybe she plays a bigger role.

If they handle it right it could be a very good thing, it'll stop people from getting bored from using the same thing over and over.

Hopefully they finally make good on the promise that Rise From The Ashes showed on innovative puzzles....almost ten years ago. The "crime video" and so forth in that case were light years ahead of AA4.

Just noticing, Phoenix's sprite looks properly aged/ragged from the last few years, but his 3D model still looks as young and spry as ever. You'd think after all these years he'd have matured a bit, but no, judging from the in-game shots he still goes into bouts of panic when being called out and what not.


Don't get me wrong, I'm not necessarily complaining, but I was enjoying his role as a mentorin AA4, and while I'm not upset about him being playable in 5, I was just hoping we'd get to play bad ass older phoenix who doesn't flinch for anything and leave the more comedic aspects to those young-ins introduced in 4.


In very relatedness... I want to replay all of the games right now... Curse Capcom for only releasing the first 3 on ios.
