Its a joke that spawned from the first marathon. RUINED is when Bob adds something that doesn't look quite right at first (as he tends to draw the background and then start slapping trees on the foreground) and SAVED is when he transforms it into something beautiful. VAC is short for Valve Anti Cheat. Its spammed when it seems like Bob is hacking like this:
