Microsoft has been generally unfriendly to indie developers until recently. Might have been too little too late, with their recent commitment to indies. I wouldn't be surprised if it showed up on Xbox One at some point though.

Why, just because they have edited it out so they won't spoil the announcement? They have already teased a port of the sequel more than once as soneone also posted in this thread, this was the final confirmation for me.
