Moved up some places from ladt month (41 to 11). This month try to get in the top 10 and stay there. And be honest, how many of you had double or triple trophies for sound shapes being a plus game?

Pretty crap month for me, barely made the top 100!!! (99th)

Finished up the Resogun port platinum right at the start of august, but FFX-2 stole my entire month. Looking to have an even worse performance this month, since i havent touched anything since MGSV dropped.

Platinum #27: Steins;Gate

Easy platinum if you follow a guide. Good game as well, though it's a little too .... anime to be really great.

Thanks for the recommendation, i planned on picking that up around Halloween, since i should be done with MGSV by then and waiting on Battlefront. Should be a perfect palette cleanse between shootbangs, looks like one hell of a game

Went from #90 last month to #77 this month. Platinum'ing COD Modern Warfare 2 and nearly Platinum'ing The Last Of Us PS3 and Rocket League helped. Thanks for doing this! Although September looks to be killing my progress....

Happy new thread! Thanks for updating again Rtbeoh.

I knew my trophy hunting last month was a bit much, but I didn't think it was that excessive/going to be 20k. It's especially sad when compared to my other months this year.
I guess this is what happens when I'm more or less a hermit for a month.

I'm currently playing and about to finish Lightning Returns. It's been a pleasant surprise so far. I already enjoyed XIII-2 (wasn't a fan of XIII) but this one is by far the best of the three for me. I wonder if those that weren't a fan of the linearity of XIII ever gave this one a chance.

What has everyone been playing/any game recs?

I ended up 40th for the month, this month may be even more dire! I do plan on (potentially) platinuming Life is Strange, if not, getting all trophies for the four episodes, and maybe going for the Until Dawn platinum as well, while playing a few other things. I probably won't crack 100 trophies for the month, though :(

Very happy to keep going at that rate considering my game time has dwindled down between to and from work this month.

I guess this is Binding of Isaac month for me, next month is BLOPS III at the end of the month, and November my hands are full with Fallout 4 and Battlefront.
December is Just Cause 3 and Rainbow Six.

So don't expect much from me these next few months d:

These threads are always great, and do a great job of encouraging me to spend more time playing.

My local Target was clearing out Vita stuff like it was poisoned or something, so I picked up a copy of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus, Mortal Kombat 9 and Rayman Legends, plus I still have an unplayed copy of Tearaway and AC Liberation and Re;Birth1 in my backlog- hoping to put some time into getting some of that put away this month.

Heads up, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus has an unachievable plat. I might've posted about this in one of the previous threads, but the game has two trophies tied to the co-op mode which wasn't included in the Plus version, so it's impossible to earn the platinum.

Edit: Mortal Kombat as well, but that's due to a server closure.

Thank you. I didn't give Alien Isolation a very fair chance as it was a rental. I'll definitely give it another go though. It will fit nicely with the general horror theme I try to keep with for my media consumption across most of September/October.

Good month so far for me, I managed to grab 3 Platinum trophies last few days (Dying Light, Infamous SS and Rocket League). Now I can focus on actually playing some new games.

Awesome, I finished this month in 5th place. I knew I was gong to place well as I had the entirety of August off work.

In fact last month was by far my most productive month ever in terms of collecting trophies with 366 earned.

Eh, I don't consider myself great, I'd say i'm on the lower end of the good players, I can pass/5 star pretty much everything, but 100%ing is a different story, most of it is just practising the specific trophies, breaking everything down to half speed until I can hit it consistently, upping the speed again, get it consistent, and continue until I'm at full speed

Well shit. At least I'm bad enough at Ninja Gaiden that I was probably never going to finish on the harder difficulties to get there anyway; still having a good time with it. Thanks for the head's up.

I played Life Is Strange on PC, so playing through it again is a much faster time, especially with a guide for the photos. I played two hours of Until Dawn, this game is so great. The damn jump scares get me every time (

. I might try and go for the Tearaway Unfolded platinum this month, too, especially since the ace level trophies from the Vita version are no longer in the PS4 version.

I doubt I'll ever get very high in the rankings as I tend to get engaged in RPGs that take me a month ha ha. Speaking of which I'm playing The Witcher 3 next....

First, nice thread, but I gotta let you know. Haveabloodmuffin won August going into Septembelr while I was top for July going into August.

Yeah, 100% Megaman Legacy really took the drive outta me. Got the Sound Shapes DLC for cheap, so I got a ton of silver trophies for it. Hoping to finish Strider PS3 for my 100th Plat and do a few Telltale games to help even out that nagging average...

The good thing about The Witcher 3 is that even though it's a monstrously huge game, a lot of the trophies are definitely obtainable and not really ending based and difficulty based. So they will take time, but you'll get quite a few if you finish most of the game's quests and contracts!

Got my 89th plat yesterday : Final Fantasy XIV.
The game's good but I'm a little burned out by it. I'll take a break until the next big patch will come out.

I think I'll have MGSV plat by the end of the month. I've upgraded my MB, developed the N

don't I have to beat it on hard? Thinking of trying that out the bat but this is my first Witcher game so I'm not sure if that's wise or not XD

Uh, you have to beat the game on the hardest difficulty. Not to mention win the Gwent tournament.

Both true, I meant most of the trophies. Compared to some other RPG's, specifically JRPG's that have a load of different ending trophies, The Witcher 3 has more attainable in a single playthrough. But you're right, gwent and difficulty trophies are still in there.

Yup, you have to beat it on Death March. This honestly isn't real difficult either. It's a little tough at the beginning, but gets much easier. I rarely died late in the game. Quen is your best friend on Death March.

The biggest thing to watch out for if going for the platinum in one run are the Gwent related trophies and some story related trophies. It wasn't a tough platinum though.

I'd agree that Death March isn't particularly hard once you attune yourself to it. Gwent is the real challenge though, I've put nearly 100 hours in to The Witcher and completed it on Death March 1st playthrough but Gwent is gonna be the toughest trophy for me. Sitting at about 72% right now.

Compared to JRPGs, the Witcher at least has pretty much 0 grind trophies.

I bought Killzone SF season pass (it was quite cheap). I had a great time with the online and I'm looking forward to this coop thing. Is it good ? Are the trophies hard to get ?

I saw there is a drone trophy, it was the most annoying thing to farm in the main game :s I hope it'll take less than 500 kills with drone.
