Just heard someone from RCP say that Biden being excluded from polls show his support goes to Sanders in head to head polling.

Is there any truth to this? Polls I see which are Clinton/Sanders tend to show her solidifying support. Like the PPP polls which have excluded Biden show her support in the 50s while with Biden she's down in the 40s in other polling.

People in this business can really just say whatever they want and get away with it.

Fiorina also said she agreed with former Vice President Dick Cheney's assessment Sunday that President Barack Obama's administration is to blame for the flood of refugees from Syria into Europe.

Several European countries, including France, Germany, Austria and the United Kingdom, have said they are willing to take in refugees, while Hungary has constructed a fence on its border with Serbia to stem the flow of people entering the country illegally.

"Look, the world is a more dangerous and a more tragic place when the United States is not leading, and we have not been leading for a long time," she added, calling the situation "entirely predictable" and a "lack of leadership" on the part of Obama and Clinton, his former secretary of state.

Hey, here's an idea, go fuck yourself.

I often have trouble knowing who is trolling and who stands by what they say. Would it be too much hassle to add each regular poster's political compass to the OP? I think it would also help outsiders who rarely comment know what they're getting into should they delve into conversation. The sarcasm often runs deep in here.

Or nah?

It would be extremely interesting to know where you all fall
100ppp is just wrong. Morally repugnant.

I now suspect you of being a sexual deviant.
There's only two occasions when it's wrong: when you enter a thread saturated with gifs, and when a thread is full of embedded vidyas. This only applies to mobile on current Apple products. 1 gb -- fuck you Tim Cook

I have apps essential to my profession that work so much better on an Apple product. Believe me, I considered jumping ship more than a few times.

Edit: I'm sure HylianTom can attest to the painful mobile PACS compatibility with non-Apple products.

This is like the second worst thing I've read on here. You can't force people to disclose that information. Also It would be terribly self important to presume that others care, to put it right in the op, like, here you go lurkers - these are the people that matter.

It would be terribly self important to presume that others wouldn't care. Who is one to presume the opinions of others?
It would also be terribly self important to presume that others want to read whatever are one's political musings.

Embrace your hubris.

Nobody is forcing anyone. This is already an anonymous board. What's the big deal?

I didn't beat it. I beat the first boss. I hope you don't disagree with me on the inherent merit of this accomplishment. I invite you to try it for yourself.

Kim Davis is asking the governor to let her deny licenses.

I haven't seen someone so delusional into thinking they are winning since Romney in 2012.

Everyone is a socialist except a few people who are "very socialist," Metaphoreus who is lawful neutral, and benji who defies your primitive classification system.

Thankfully, my workplace hasn't asked me to use any mobile PACS applications.. thank god.

I have an iPad for net surfing and a no-frills android phone, and on the occasions where I've went and researched the apps available for each device, the ones for iPad looked much less painful. (for what that's worth)

It's not hard to pick up on the peculiarities of posters if you hang out for a while. Even if you had a political compass for each person, it's not like people won't have different views on different issues.

Nowadays with the Buzzfeediness of life, it's easy to ask for a list. I think it's probably more difficult to read tone on the internet but following discussion and trying to puzzle out other people isn't so bad or hard.

Trump will be on the Tonight Show this Friday. In related news, NBC needs ratings.

Colbert has been trying to get him to come on the late show too. It's certainly odd that Trump does interviews with pretty much everyone except for Colbert.

I'm sure he'll be fine doing the silly stuff Jimmy Fallon puts his guests through, but I don't think his ego can handle the biting satire Colbert would subject him too.

Can't wait to see how his debut and Bush interview is going to go tomorrow.

Now that he's running for president he likely wants no repeat of stuff like when letterman had him on and showed him a trump tie that said made in china on it. Any talk program he does will have pre approved jibes that are acceptably biting to him.

I found an interesting article from salon, about jimmy carter.
http://www.salon.com/2015/09/05/jimmy_carter_got_it_right_race_ronald_reagan_and_how_the_right_gutted_his_visionary_electoral_reform/
Jimmy Carter had been an engineer. He had also been a Baptist missionary. Both identities, in their different ways, converged on the same habit of thought: that there was a Correct Way to do things—only one. The engineer believed that a solitary individual, working assiduously with the right tools and information, with enough ingenuity and perseverance and a clear and clever mind—all of which Jimmy Carter possessed—could arrive at the right solution to any problem. And for the devout Baptist, no less than for the engineer, a conviction, once arrived at, was something to communicate, not to compromise.
This spring, when only those closest to him knew of his illness, Jimmy Carter made news on Thom Hartmann’s radio program when he returned to the question of democracy reform. In 1977, he had pledged “to work toward an electoral process which is open to the participation of all our citizens, which meets high ethical standards, and operates in an efficient and responsive manner.” In 2015, he was still at it.

He declared our electoral system a violation of “the essence of what made America a great country in its political system. Now it’s just an oligarchy, with unlimited political bribery being the essence of getting the nominations for president or to elect the president.”

The president who put the solar panels on the White House roof was once again rendered a prophet without honor.

When Jimmy Carter is right he is really, really right. When the right is wrong, they stay wrong as the day is long.
The writer of the piece's past work, in the interest of disclosure:
Rick Perlstein is the author of "The Invisible Bridge," "Nixonland: The Rise of a President and the Fracturing of America" and "Before the Storm: Barry Goldwater and the Unmaking of the American Consensus.

So apparently the SurveyUSA poll that had Trump leading Clinton by 5 oversampled men by 20 points, and most of the responses were from landlines (<40% from mobile) and seniors dominated the poll.
On the other hand it has 25% of African Americans backing Trump (!!!)

No need to Diablos I assume.

I trust the results from this poll which was clearly conducted with impeccable methodology.

I've been saying this since it came out days ago. It was the definition of an outlier poll and is in line with their wacky polls from 2012 which showed Romney getting 30% of black voters in NC. But what downside is there? That poll was featured on the front pages of Drudge, Newsmax, Breitbart, etc and got them tons of publicity. Outliers basically feed the machine at this point so there's no reason not to throw it out there when it has zero harm to your reputation as an accurate pollster this far out.
