I agree that PSN should be a lot more automated with these releases like most other services. I'm sure Grace Chen time is incredibly endearing to some people here, but that stuff is weak.

It is weak, and people complain about it all the time. Just funny to have somebody attacking others like nothing has been said before this moment.

got my stick ready

Kudos for the good taste good sir.

Thanks for the reply guys/gals! Looks like most have legit reasons to double dip instead of simply double dipping for the sake of double dipping.

Also the fact that its only 25 bucks and has all the DLC costumes and new features and removes the frame delay certainly makes me more willing to double dip. If it was like 40+ I don't know if I would have picked it up day one (I probably still would have, but this makes me feel much better about it).

This is not why my grandfather beat the nipponese in WW2!

Should've been out at Midnight EST I say.

I am disappoint.

There seems to be quite a number of people double dipping for the PS4 version. Mind if I ask why don't you just stick to the previous version you have? I mean, they're essentially the same thing(not including that PS3 lag of course). Just curious is all.
I have the PC version and despite buying it for my friends on steam, they STILL won't play it. So hopefully I'll be able to
get bodied
play with others on gaf that haven't played this in years.

Play people much better than you and pick primarily one character that you like and feel comforatble with.

practice your execution, bnb combos in trials or free practice.

OR

Pick Sagat. aka the WIN BUTTON

fundamentals is a pretty sick win button to have ;)

It is weak, and people complain about it all the time. Just funny to have somebody attacking others like nothing has been said before this moment.

ah it's too bad that person was attacking people

Any impressions of the Hori Fighting Commander 4? Have almost pulled the trigger several times. It's backward-compatible with the PS3 to boot!

Have the HFC3 for PS3 and worked like a charm. Used it when I went to EVO 2013 - the dpad is great (you can slightly tilt it too if you'd like), the buttons are oversized and the triggers feel great. All in all, this is one of the best 3rd party pads you can get for fighting games. I'm actually selling mine back to Amazon because I don't have a PS3 anymore and that the DS4 is more than good enough for me in terms of fighting games.

Any tips for total noob? Never played but against friends and for fun. Most I probably played of a fighting game was SF2, Killer Instinct or Soul Calibur

Best tip I got when I first started was don't try to run before you waltk. LEARN YOUR FUNDAMENTALS! Anti-airing spacing defense ect ect. I've seen too many people that want to learn the 10 hit combo they saw someone do before the have a solid base to work with . So they go online and win a few sure...but then run into someone who knows what they are doing and get destroyed and they can't even begin to tell you what just happened. Kind of like someone trying to learn to play basketball by learning how to dunk before learning to dribble or do a layup.

Also be careful with your beginning character decision . I know a lot have said pick who ever you want or who you think is interesting but that can land you in big shit if you happen to like someone like Akuma or Seth...you'll go into a match and get ko'd in 4 hits and wonder why people even play this shit..lol..

We should hit Shuhei Yoshida up on twitter and tell him the U.S. PS Store staff needs to get off their collective butts with new releases, LOL.

Do you know if in the PS4 version you can remap buttons layout like in 360? The Steam version didn't have it.

I'm downloading it, in 4 hours or so will be mine!

Thanks, do you mean like a hard to play character or a bad one?

Ps4 you can remap any buttons on any game from a system level. Even if devs didn't put it in you can do it yourself.

Usually by now I start to see a little movement on the deals page or in the preorder section.

Nothing.

I hope this isn't going to be a late update.

They are very difficult to play but also very good. They have a lot of option and escape moves can come back in just about any situation with the right resources given their explosive nature ...they also have the lowest life and stun in the game ..so you look at them wrong and they are dizzy the dead...lol..almost no room for mistake with them

Also for got to say that there are different types of hard to play characters..there are those that rely heavily on gimmicks and setups to play like the mentioned seth and akuma and then there are those that are technically difficult like high execution characters like C Viper or Sakura. ..they don't rely on gimmicks so much but they rely on heavy heavy punishment for any mistake on your part..
