I've been downloading (UK) since it went up just before 5pm. Still hasn't finished yet... guess I won't be playing today.

Exactly the same. It said about 9 hours overall for the download to complete.

Can you at least boot the game and go to training mode once it's downloaded enough or do we have to wait for the whole thing to finish?

I'm actually trying online now to find 25 dollar psn cards can only find 10, 20 and 50 for my us account. Obviously don't want to overpay.

I suppose you may be right, but when the 360 first came out most people were wired since the wireless wasn't built in yet. I'm basing this on the fact that I got WAY more laggy games on PS3 than PS4. But since 360 was my primary system it never bothered me. It could have just been that ps3 has laggier online overall, I really dunno, but I'm just concerned since I planned on making the ps4 version my primary version. I might leave the 360 plugged in for a bit longer depending on how this plays out.

I stuck it out and forced myself to plink all 1f and 2f links. It took awhile, and I don't think I'll ever be 100% at it, but I'm so so glad i did it. It's really worth it if you have the time and patience.

Yeah I might at some point, especially if I wanna make those Evil Ryu combos a bit easier.

I honestly think this is why so many people think XBL is so much better than PSN. PS3 had wireless from the getgo, 360 didn't.

Same here, 16 hours estimated, it's crawling nowhere near my line speed. With games this big there should be a physical release, this is a permanent 14gb chunk of eaten space I won't want to re-download. Digital future sucks.

I didn't know he doesn't have an arcade stick. I was taught plinking to help me understand linking, and I think that I'm better for it, but maybe that's because my first character was Abel in AE, so maybe that will provide some context as to why I learned both at the same time. I also provided another less complicated explanation of frame data just a few posts below.
