All characters are viable it's down to the players skill.

But noob blankas are the easiest people to beat.
She's still pretty strong, hits hard, good whiff punishes. She needs good execution, red focus is basically useless for her. Delayed wakeup affected her setups a little, but its fairly easy to adjust to. Tier wise I'd say she is mid-high

Tiers still matter. There's a reason you're not seeing Thawk or Dan or Honda win tournaments.

That's part of the reason I have so many. I host games very often and don't want people to need to bring sticks.

Honestly, a lot of lower tier characters are used for counter picking in pools. You just don't see them much when they stream.

I could use some nice regular players in endless. I'm on east coast in NJ main Ken and alt. Fei. Haven't played in a while but used to be top Ken on psn for a few days, which basically means I beat scrubs enough times in a row to get a lot of points lol.

Justin Wong will stomp you with Dan not because Dan is top tier, but because you are bad. Tiers do not matter, player skill and match up understanding etc makes you far more deadly than just picking top tier guys and hoping that alone is enough to carry you.
Of course there are tiers.

The site does not "go live" with new stuff typically for another 2-3 hours when they post a blog entry with the contetnt update. Nothing out of the ordinary here.

Really you should learn Ryu inside and out. He is the framework and basics of all fighting games. If you learn how to play with him you will learn how to play other characters more easily and also know how to defend against him, which will be helpful because a ton of people play Ryu.
