This isn't Danganronpa. That level of despair doesn't fit AA.
The newest trailer ended with Maya getting attacked by a knife-wielding maniac during an anime scene, so we'll see.

Reminder that AA3 for the GBA came out in 2004.
It's been twelve years since Maya's been a character in a mainline AA game.
Maya rocked hard in that game, even more so than in AA 1-3. Hopefully the new AA team can write her as well as Shu Takumi.

I'm sure there's enough twisty BS to experience.
Because Level 5 is not Capcom. Would have been less of a shock had it released before AA5 in the West like it did in Japan.

Nah, I don't care enough about Maya for me to care why someone would want to kill her (That's really the only mystery there could be.). I really hope that she dies or this is the last game with Phoenix in it.
I really wish people didn't moan about Apollo Justice so the series could move forward with new characters.

The court stuff is good but all the Layton stuff drags the game down. I blame that on Level 5.
Hopefully they find something interesting to do with Klavier and Edgeworth. I like those guys, but it isn't all that interesting when you're facing characters with no animosity and generally aiming toward the same goal. The best part about Edgeworth is hearing he attends Trucy's shows. They're literally just adult friends now.

I can deal with all the spiritual bullshit of AA6 if it means Maya can come back.
They only need to add Edgeworth again to bring back the feel of the original trilogy before 4 happened and how they tried to repair the damaged it caused with 5. Hopefully they shake things up a bit gameplay and storytelling wise because personally I feel the series is becoming stale.
