Ever since the rumors started shortly before release when she was teased in that Winston short, I've been curious about how they would pull off a sniper support.
The game definitely needs a third support character (Symmetra, you belong in Defense).

I want Summer-themed skins for everybody. I have all these coins saved up and it's hard not to spend them on skins that are already out.
They already said new skins are coming later in the Summer. I just hope they're actual new models like some of the better Legendaries, instead of more palette swaps.

Not really, they age like everyone else. Look at George Clooney, same age as Obama.
That's a rich celeb with all the best fitness, diet ect at his disposable. It's just because people make a thing out of presidents aging that they think it's dramatic. Also there is always point of reference (start and end of presidency) to compare.
Edit - Anyway, I love that concept/fan art! I haven't bought Overwatch yet but will pick up soon.

Sounds like my type of character but I wonder how people will play her. Will sniper players pick her without playing support? I would like less bad sniper teammates.
Zenyatta was already useless when he can't be a guerrilla healer. He has to put himself in the middle of combat just to throw discord orbs out. There's no reason his orbs shouldn't be able to bounce off walls.
Wait until you see Reinhardt rocking his gremlim DVa avatar.
I feel the problem isn't really bad sniper teammates, it's that bad teammates tend to like playing sniper.

We already have a character that hides away and heals the team. She can also res pretty much every team fight.
We don't have a character who hides away and heals the team who these players want to play, that's the problem here!

It's nice to think the COD sniper crowd would be tempted away from Widowmaker, but they won't get kills if they're shooting heals instead of shooting enemies.

They will be showing the background stuff of making her (art, backstory and such) on july 21st so I would guess she's out before then.
Also from how the twitter teases for heroes in the beta was pretty close to release I'm guessing on a mid next week ptr release of her.

Well every earlier tease of heroes from twitter has takeb about a week to full release.
also zenyatta is being looked into, will probably be reworked a bit for season 2.

I actually see a lot of Zenyattas lately. More than Mercy's unfortunately. He is pretty effective against Roadhog with the discord orb but weak against so many others. His ult is incredible for pushes though.
Love Zen but the dudes trash tier hopefully they rework him.

There's one picture of Amari ripping an Omics' guts out, so it would be interesting if she was a healing sniper with a Sapper alt fire or ultimate. Maybe someone to disrupt torb turret and specifically omnic characters? It would make zenyatta worse though.
I saw someone comment about possibly tagging an enemy with a charge, then when you shoot a teammate it leeches enemy health to heal the teammate. This sounds like a really cool idea, and double maybe work like zen line of sight. Enemy steps out of line of sight for a few seconds and the leech goes away.
Hope the Tuesday date is real.

I think there's little reason to believe it's Pharah's mom anymore. Aside from 'they're snipers' there's like 0 connection. Sombra is related to the reactor in Dorado, is a spanish word to begin with, uses a very clearly different rifle... I mean it could be, but it would be pretty random.
There's tons of reason to think it is Anna. All characters good or bad have some connection to Overwatch. What are the odds of a super sniper who hides her face using a prototype rifle created by Overwatch while Anna was still at Overwatch not being connected at all?
Symmetra, Lucio, Bastion, Zarya, D.va...none of these characters have connections to Overwatch.
EDIT: Forgot about Roadhog and Junkrat, who are connected to sombra (At least via the stage in game) and ALSO unconnected to overwatch in any way.
Symmetra and Lucio are connected to each other via Vishka, on opposing sides, so yeah they're kinda self contained. Roadhog and Junkrat are Australian terrorists so idk. I always saw Zarya and Dva are symbols of the newer generation of would-be Overwatch agents, if the organization didn't collapse.
The thing about Sombra is, they've been teasing her in very deliberate ways. Documents on her in a stage on the same table as Soldier 76 (one of the files being Jack Morrison's real name to boot?), a sniper who is hiding her face, a sniper rifle which was prototyped within Overwatch during the time Anna was still at Overwatch, Anna being a sniper and the only original Overwatch agent who is "dead" and not accounted for? I don't see how it would be "random" at all since it's part of the tease.
The nature of Sombra's codename is definitely linked to Dorado, and she's definitely operating in that area for some story reason, but that's no reason to think it wouldn't be Anna with some personal agenda post-Overwatch. Worked out for Soldier 76 and Reaper after all.
