So, my wife got rushed to the ER today guys. I've been trying to post normal since I got home. Can't sleep, so you bastards have to read my sob story. She's got what seemed like a cold a couple months ago. Coughing and whatnot. But, it never went away. So we finally get her to our doctor a few weeks ago, she prescribes the most expensive antibiotic I've ever paid for ($20 pill with good insurance) and it does nothing to help. She goes back to the doctor today, and the doctor took her oxygen levels and called the ambulance.
So here I am, with 4 kids, and a wife in an ambulance. Find somewhere to stick the kids and went to the hospital to see what was up. Doctors don't have any clue. Just that her lungs aren't absorbing oxygen. They're calling a specialist tomorrow. Shit has been so hard. Haven't cried in years. Shit is scary as fuck. Oneirology got me through a lot of it. It's all I had in the truck on the way there, and when I went to go get her dinner. Stupid ass hospital rules wouldn't let me spend the night in her room, so here I am at home. Empty house. I've always dreamed of having time alone at home, but not like this. It's fucking weird. Usually an angry wife and 4 hellions running around.

CunninLynguists healed me tremendously all afternoon. Music is medicine.

I doing this off of memory, from an article in Murder Dog (best rap mag ever) like, 10 years ago. If not longer.
So, Tical is wrapped. Tracks are mastered. It's ready to be sent to DefJam. Method Man decides to go on a PCP binge to celebrate. The studio that housed the recording (which was analog) flooded and destroyed 90% of the masters. Everything was scrapped. Aside from Bring the Pain and All I Got Is You. Everything on Tical was written, composed and recorded in 48 hours, while Meth was high as fuck on angel dust.
This is why the album has that vibe. This is why I love that album.

It just explains so much, and makes it such a special album IMO. Because you can almost taste the PCP in the blunt when you listen to it.
Fuck the whole album is bangin. I can't link every track. lol
Fun fact: I still own my original 36 Chambers and Tical CDs, and they both still play without skipping. They're scratched to hell and back too. I've made copies and retired them. My Tical disc still has a deep scratch on the back from a razor we were using to split a blunt. Good memories man.

You seem like good people, and this just proves it. Ridin' Dirty is the best rap album of the '90s. It's unbelievably good. This album should played for every motherfucker who hates on the South. Every time I turn it on now I get all emotional during "One Day" and then I basically sing along to every song at full volume. Then I immediately turn on Super Tight and then Dirty Money and then I listen to UGK for like a week straight.kamspy said:
