Will buy screen protectors.
Pouch and skins seem ridiculousness

I'm assuming the nunchuck wires fit underneath that?
There's an official screen protector, and it includes a pen stylus.

Came for fightstick.
Leaving disappointed.
Is there anywhere in the US to preorder this? I checked Amazon but couldn't find it
I've only seen it for sale from European and Japanese websites. NoA might not be selling it?
The Japanese box has a white gamepad on it instead of the black one on the European box.

I wish Nintendo would release some official wireless Nunchucks.
I need to know this too.Is the Gamepad screen plastic or glass?
Ooh yes please. Even if it required a clip on accessory to the bottom of the wiimote to act as a receiver. You could probably do a third party one like that.
Is there a 3rd party wireless nunchuck that is worth it?I wish Nintendo would release some official wireless Nunchucks.

Whatever it is, it's apparently the best of its class: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3i3EsSdnG0cPlastic. You expect Nintendo to put glass on these things?
exactly. Don't get me wrong - that MadCatz stick is really nice (light the MarkMan signal) - but it'd be nice to see what Hori is bringing to the table as well.
I don't know it's just worrying that there is an official screen protector as if they expect it to get scratched.Plastic. You expect Nintendo to put glass on these things?

Well others have said it's plastic so you will need a protector. Especially if you're going to leave it lying around like a normal controller.I don't know it's just worrying that there is an official screen protector as if they expect it to get scratched.
Looks awful and pointless. Controllers can go in drawers if you need the living space to look neat. The stand will look ridiculous when the controllers are in use, and the Wii U console's rounded sides make it look rubbish in a vertical orientation.Thats awesome. So neat and tidy for when you are done playing.
What? At least my cheap ass Sony phone came preinstalled with a screen protector and one extra bundled in the box because they knew the screen was scratch prone.for god's sake.
The protective case and screen protector are to prevent scratches and stops it getting dirty. It's just like a smart phone case - nothing worse than a smart phone with scratched screen. What a shit accessory lineup. Half a dozen different screen protectors (which are probably all the same), a pouch that is of zero use, and the dumbest of them all, the clear plastic shell - I mean come on, the controller is a plastic shell. A second one attached to it will help next to nothing.
The only ones that even remotely make sense are the headphones and styluses.
uses lustrous materials that prioritize image quality to preserve the Wii U gamepad's high image quality.
I lol'ed
Nyko needs to step it up and bring out the next generation in Party Stations.

You'd be amazed at how filthy 2nd hand controllers can be.
It's not like anything else requires special protection, though. Gamepad aside you can toss all your wires, remotes, base system into any bag you wish and have no problems beyond a bit of scuff.Or taking it over to a friend's for some 2 Gamepad game, but that'll be awhile yet. Maybe taking the system around period, but I'd think an all in one case would be better there.
I played it and you'll be surprised.
