Yep. I think I remember reading that the Premier League don't allow anything on shirts representing achievements in other competitions, which is quite silly.
I sort of agree with them. I remember Inter's shirt last year with the Scudetto, CWC & Coppa Italia badges fighting for space with the Nike logo and Inter badge. Looked awful.

How is Bayern bigger than Barca?

Why not? Barcelona being big is something recent, Bayern has been big since the Beckenbauer/Gerd Mueller times. Also Bayern is awesome.

I was about to post this haha.

I meant FIFA 12. I don't hear him discussed much in this thread.

He's a good player. He was very good in Bremen (like right now in Atlético) but then he moved to Juve and Wolfsburg and sucked big time. He's moving back to Wolfsburg next season I believe, unless Atlético Madrid shows them some money.

If Anzhi give us 45mil they can have Van Persie. He is not worth that much and we could use the money to invset in other players. I would rather RVP signs for us but if he is to be sold it better not be to a PL club and most definitely NOT FUCKING MAN CITY. I will really turn against RVP if he signs for City....

Can't say we didn't warn you Lightning.

Arsenal banning RVP from media comment over the next few weeks says a lot.

No chance he goes to Anzhi either.

i know. This media ban is yet another coincidence from the Cesc transfer last season and we all know how tthat turned out. This is going to be a very shitty summer for Arsenal...

FUCK!

Regulus Tera

Romanes Eunt Domus
Oribe Peralta is in such a good moment. Goddamn. Santos 2 Monterrey 0.

Also: Ochoa and Ajaccio remain in Ligue 1!

Also also: Chivas won the U-17 tournament!! :D FUCK YEAH

Also also also: Chivas is going to Concachampions. Not sure if I should be happy, the team is not ready for international competition right now.

Arsenal just need to keep RVP even if he doesn't sign. Just keep him a year and look to rebuild next year without him.
I think this is what they should do, ideally.

But that's waving goodbye to £20m. Not gonna happen realistically. But there are chances to get really good strikers at the moment, Higuain and Cavani seem like they'll be leaving their clubs. Even Falcao could be leaving. Arsenal can sign those players this summer IMO, they'll need to cough up but RVP will contribute to the pot.

Dudes, is FM12 worth getting now, or should I wait for FM13?

I have FM11 on Steam... but I only just installed it. What are the best sites for updating the rosters/logos etc? I used to use something like "Sortitout", but I have no idea if there are better places out there.

The Hazard saga has been so ridiculous already. God damn Twitter is just perpetuating the stupidity of it all. The whole "I've spoken to Manchester and Chelsea" quotes aren't even true but I bet they'll be in some of the papers tmrw.

Score! downloaded. Beats learning about "Fischers theory of the Quantity Demand of Money".

Boooo exams.

Have you done Marx, Capital yet?

Heavy going at the start (dat Chapter 3) but well worth it. I ended up wishing Marx had just stopped after he wrote all his critiques of capitalism (which are superb and hold up today). Unfortunately then he got into the remedy and system building business which are very bad indeed.

You can probably get by with FM11 till FM 13. The changes are mainly usability improvements I think. No idea on rosters I use randomly generated players. Makes scouting more fun for me.

each one represents a trophy less decade
lol.

Fernando Torres has cast serious doubt over whether his long-term future lies at Chelsea after calling for clear-the-air talks with the club's hierarchy over what his role will be next season.

A disgruntled Torres has wasted little time in expressing his disappointment at missing out on a starting place in the Chelsea side that claimed the UEFA Champions League on Saturday evening in Munich, going on to claim for much of his time in West London he has felt 'lost' and may even have 'given up' were it not for the support he has received from those close to him.

Yup it spells bad news for all PL teams if City gets a hold of the likes of RVP, Hazard, etc

They'll be freaking unstoppable... Fucking oil money... Seriously... *_*

I'm happy for him, I think he loved playing at Celtic despite not getting much game time. Did manage to win the title this year without him though. :)

How about giving the fans some credit? Granted if people weren't such suckers for a pretty face he'd be thrown in the garbage, but both Liverpool and Chelsea fans adored him no matter how shit he played.

Edit: Apparently he did.

The 28-year-old was ecstatic in victory yet conceded his omission from the starting lineup at the Allianz Arena was "the biggest disappointment" of his life, with the striker further irked at not being asked to take a penalty in the shootout even if the triumph secured by Drogba's spot‑kick offered considerable consolation. "In the end I was able to play a bit and help the team but there was huge disappointment when I saw the starting lineup, maybe the biggest disappointment of my life," Torres said. "This season I felt things I had never felt [before]. I felt they have treated me in a way I was not expecting; not in the manner for which the club brought me here.
"We have had many conversations and, now the season has finished, we will have more talks to see what happens because this is not the role for which I came. I'm not happy. All this makes up for it, of course, but as far the future is concerned, well, football has been fair to me. Right now I do feel it's all worth it but the truth is I've gone through some very bad moments.
"The worst moments of my career have come during this season and I am not willing to relive those moments. There have been ups and downs, and moments where I've felt lost and didn't know what to do or where to be. I want to thank my family, the club's owner, who's always supported me and backed me, and, above all, the fans. If it wasn't for the fans many times this season I would have thrown in the towel."
