got back from ghostface concert. but i shouldn't call it that. because it was an hour long set with half an hour dedicated to wu-block garbage. the other half was wu-tang songs and some solo stuff from ghost.

did i mention the crowd already? half of them look like hanson-brothers. get a god damn haircut, and smelled like b o and beer. like 2 hot girls in the vicinity but they were too far to be worth a damn and clearly weren't having it with anybody and i don't blame em. the whole night was a pause-a-thon.

highlight was ghostface walking around the club later on talking to random people. i got a few words in and a dap. told him the single from twelve reasons to die sounded really nice. i wanted to say fuck u god but i got scared.

nah, they would still be relevant but as big as Wayne? No way. Wayne deserved all the love he got thanks to The Carter 1 (imho the last truly great mainstream southern record, everything else has either been lyrically embarrassing (Gucci, Wocka, Jeezy) or lacked that distinct southern sound (T.I., Waynes newer stuff).

Can't argue with that, everytime I hear some newer country song it's a bout a pickup, how everything is so different and better when you're from some small town with 80% unemployment rates or how everything was so great back then when blacks weren't allowed to cross the railroad tracks(if you read between the lines). It's a shame cause I'd love to listen to intelligent and progressive country.

Don't get me wrong I'm talking about Lights Out, Carter 1/2 Wayne, ghostwriter or not he was one of the best popular rappers back then. Nowadays he has lost his damn mind. I won't argue that some may find Wocka or Gucci more enjoyable but they do the sound and articulate like they have brain damage or are at the level of a 5 year old.

The new video Cappa released isn't bad but still...ehh. I'm guessing the guy who produced 90% of the album is his brother in law or something, shit sounds weak.

Capps probably should have closely tied himself with Rae or Ghost, he sounds the best on their stuff. He'd be making decent money as a hype man for them...

Anyone going to SWSX this year? I don't think the lineup will be as good as last year. So many great artists were there last year. Kendrick, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, JMSN, Nikkiya, Action Bronson, Danny Brown, Purity Ring, Currensy, Young Guru, SBTRKT, Stalley, Thurz, 2 Chainz, A$AP, Snoop Dogg, Arab Muzik, Santigold, and etc.

I met JMSN and got in a mosh pit with Q. And almost partied with A$AP. My friend was the lucky one lol.
