WWE TLC '13 PPV |OT| Don't Go Chasing Bigger Draws

Main event was boring as hell but the Bryan/Wyatt match was better than any handicap match has the right to be. All 4 men came off looking strong with everybody pulling off some amazing spots/moves, the story telling between everyone in the ring was excellent, and the finish made Bray look like he was a legitimate threat. Despite the rest of the PPV being ass outside of the tag match that 3 on 1 made the viewing worth it.

Cena is now begin set up to become champ at Wrestlemania. Somehow, that's probably the plan. Who else would become the champ at a landmark Mania? Gotta be the guy who sells all dat merch!

Thinking about it, every tenth Mania seemed to reward the worker triumphant on top. I.E. Benoit/Eddie and Bret.

This mindset always makes me believe that Bryan is closing with the title come WM XXX. It's whats keeping me going really....

The crowd not popping at all for Pop was the weirdest part of the show. He hasn't been on TV for a while and Vince ALWAYS gets a good reaction. Maybe you guys are on to something with the stroke thing and that's why his backstage segments had no audio. I don't recall him doing any talking on camera since after Summerslam.

Yeah, it was a very good match, no doubt about it. And the tag match was also of high quality. At the end of the day, though, this was a 2.5/5 PPV for me.

We can hope and dream. However, I feel there's almost no way that Cena doesn't headline WM30.

Why are you guys angry? The match was Orton vs Cena. You knew that either one of them was going to win. You still watched!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't care if either one won. I was just hoping for something decent. Orton had improved a lot since he last faced Cena, and Cena usually brings his A-game when it comes to PPV matches like this. But this was just boring. The weak build up didn't help either.

But TLC matches are pretty dangerous. I can see why they played it safe.

Every 10 years we also get WM at MSG.

:(

John Cena (w/ Hulk Hogan, Bruno Sammaritino & Vince McMahon) vs. Randy Orton (w/ The Authority) for control of the WWE

Cena ends Undertaker's streak. Fuck me, please no.

I don't think it will actually happen, but if it has top happen, I want Cena to end it because the "smart" community might just implode at that moment.

If there is ever a time to not play it safe, it is in the most important match of all time in a match made specifically for huge bumps and spots.

No ink peaks out when you're wearing a long sleeve shirt.

Yeah, but the dude is in his underwear every week on TV. Tonight was the first time he's had anything covering past his taint in years. Why is he worried if his tats peak out?

Wrestlers have lives outside of the ring. Or it could be something as simple that he doesn't want to ink his wrists because that shit probably hurts like a mother fucker.

30 is Taker's last WM. Cena is the only active, major guy that hasn't tried to take his streak. Cena is going to face Undertaker and lose.

Something happening to Vince might be true. His hand at his chest looks off and so does his smirk. He looks really deflated too. And him considering going on Stone Cold's podcast is surprising to me.

No new belt?

They just introduced a new WWE Championship not even a year ago, so no way they're going to abandon that. My guess is that they'll just retire the Big Gold Belt and go with the WWE Championship belt from here on out.

If they don't retire the big gold belt by Wrestlemania, then I'd put money on the titles being deunified again.

I diagnosed a stroke when a co-worker of mine started talking about alligators farms and coleslaw in the same sentence. It was a bummer.
